Tommy had been sitting on the stairs debating on to leave now or wait a bit longer. He was living with his adoptive dad, philza, and Phil's kids, techno and wilbur, they were very warm and welcoming to him. But as they grew up Tommy was more on the sidelines from being pushed around by the twins. By now they, well only techno and wilbur, would joke about it.

Tommy was fed up with being in their shadows. Of course he wasn't going back to l'manberg. He was exiled from the area, by his own best friend. Of course Tommy didn't know techno and dream had blown it up.

Tommy decided staying for a few more days would be best. He needed to prepare after all. Plus he wanted to write a note for his family. Tommy was sitting at his desk pondering on what to write on the paper. He still had nothing but "dear family," written down so far. He decided to let it be and walk down stairs. As he reached the middle step, a breeze hit his nose with a delightful scent. He knew what that smell was. Phil was cooking steaks and chicken salad. Tommy did really like the chicken salad but he loved steak.

He reach the dining table where everyone in the house had already gathered. Phil was handing plates of food to everyone before sitting down and eating his own. They had nice chats about things they did today. Tommy didn't really talk about anything since he was stuck in his room all day trying to prepare for the night ahead.

He planed to running away that night while everyone slept, so they wouldn't stop him before he left the cabin. He was planing on running to a small village near by. He and Phil would visit when he was younger. The villagers there knew Phil and Tommy like they always lived there. It was nice have people there that knew him and didn't push him aside. He loved his adoptive brothers he truly did but he wanted a break from them.

He finished his food and swiftly packed his bags getting ready to leave. He decided against writing a letter since it would slow him down. Once he knew everyone was asleep or in their rooms he swept out the door and ran down the path towards the direction of the village. He ran through the snowy spruce forests until he recognized the buildings in front of him. He had made it to the village. As he walked closer to the newly built walls around the village he heard crying.

The crying wasn't inside the walls. And Tommy knew it wasn't an adult either. It was too harsh to be an adult. Tommy walked around the corner of the wall to look for the source of the sound. It was a baby, someone had put a baby wrapped in blankets, inside a basket and left it outside the villages walls. He picked up the baby from the basket and took the blanket off to see what it looked like. It almost looked like Tommy weirdly enough. The baby had bright blue, ocean like eyes and strawberry blonde hair. After Tommy picked up the child he grabbed the blanket and wrapped it around the child. Tommy hadn't noticed buy once he pick it up it was quiet, it stop crying and cuddled into his chest as much it could. He didn't want to leave the child alone without someone to take care of it. He held the child and walked into the walls.

Tommy made his way towards the house he and Phil would stay in when it was to late to go back or just when Tommy begged him to stay in the village for the night. He reached the house and stepped in without a second thought. He knew the people who owned the house, they knew him just as well. They took Tommy in before Phil adopted him. "Tommy!" a kid came running up to Tommy hugging him. The kid had been there since Jessica had taken him in. The knew each other better than anyone else in this village "hey bud, where's your mom?" Tommy hugged the boy back. His name is maximum, Tommy used to call him maxi instead. "she's in the kitchen" he pointed behind him "she's baking a cake!" The kid bounced up and down "who's that?" max asked looking at the baby in tommy's arms.

"it's a kid I found outside, that's why I'm trying to find your mom" Tommy said as he walked towards the kitchen "jessica?" Tommy peeked around the corner "Tom! It's so nice to see you again" jessica said setting the freshly baked cake on the counter "what brings you here? Is Phil with you?" jessica questioned looking around for Phil "No, I ran away. Phil's a great dad it's just his son's cast me aside whenever they can and use it as a joke" Tommy explained "I also found this kid" Tommy held the baby in view of jessica "well it's nice to see you and where did you get Kari's child?" jessica looked at the child in tommy's arms "it was right beside the wall, outside the village" Tommy explained to the woman "oh.. I guess somebody had placed her out there without anyone noticing, well Kari had died during childbirth so it had to be the father who put her out there" jessica rambled on about the child.
