"This is so rare, but what the hell Jennie?" Jisoo leaned in as she slide her chair closer to Jennie. Her cheeky and delighted small is giving Jennie an awkward silence inside of their house. The older tilted her head to the side while staring at Jennie who she had been waiting for an answer, but Jennie just gave her a dark, silent look.

"Why do you care?" A sharp tone escaped out of Jennie's mouth while narrowing her eyes. Before Jisoo could think of another question she can ask without irritating her, the latter abruptly stood up and pushed Jisoo back to her chair when the older was about to stand up too. "Don't you dare follow me and be quiet"

"Where are you going?" Jisoo asked, still wearing her grin. Jennie glanced back at her and huffed, making Jisoo let out her grating laugh all around the room. Their living room was faintly lit with the vintage wall that hung on mute colored walls. Thick wood shades shrouded the long windows across the walls. Two modern couches remained on the opposite sides of each where Jennie and Jisoo were sitting at. Paintings and picture frames displayed with gold and diamond attached on the edges. Jisoo like vintage while Jennie likes modern, it took months for them to decide which theme of the house would suit the most. Good thing, Kai decided to live with them and told them that half of vintage and modern will surely fit.

"Getting laid huh—" Jisoo jested, but her reflexes quickly covered her face when she saw multiple pillows flying towards her. When the pillows fell on the floor and solar rays hitting her face, Jisoo dropped her arms to see Jennie's face burning like hellfire. Jisoo already knew that Jennie was going crook at this moment. Her pinched expressions say it all; squinting her eyes, cheeks sucked in, and blowing out a noisy breath. "I told you to be quiet!"

Your goddamn mood swings are killing me! Jisoo thought

Jisoo just nodded and raised her hands up in the air, accepting defeat and be silent. She leaned her back on the chair and changed her gaze to somewhere else. Jennie flashed her a smile filled with smugness and left the house.

Meanwhile...

Outrage and glee traveled her veins but never made it to her facial muscles or skin. Her complexion remained pale and cool, her eyes as steady as if she were drinking a coffee and taking a turn to every people she will look at. She can feel sweat-drenched in her skin, ringing screams vibrating in her ears were now gone and replaced it with ghostly silence, her thumping heart against her chest, her fingers curled into a fist.

Upon a knife glimmering in the pale moonlight dripping blood in her grasp. Cold and merciless, a genuine weapon to show them demise, giving them no mercy with blood reflecting through their eyes. It instilled terror and dread every time a thin beam of moonlight subtly ran over the dimness, bringing the cheek into light.

She stood up and looked down on the corpse. The man on the floor was lifeless, the man who she killed is now a fountain of his own fresh blood. His deep black eyes were wide open and a long knife plonked inside of mouth, reaching the back of his throat. His body was slumped over the wall, half-sitting and half-lying down on the floor. And the smell where it doesn't totally upset her, unlike people who hate seeing and smelling blood. Was it because it's still fresh and not dried up?

She hunkered down with her eyes fixed and vacant, then placed her hand on the side of the neck where you can feel its heartbeat pulsating. But she smirked in victory when the guy is truly dead. She moved her hand away from him and removed her gloves to use her handkerchief to clean her hands before calling someone.
