Jennie placed her glass of tequila on the table that is in front of her, turning her gaze to the fancy people inside of the ball. She quickly shifted her position and placed her leg across to the other while her arms are doing the same.

She observed every one of them, talking and laughing at the same time. She was perceived how sharp and good looking they are, expensive and stunning suits and dresses were shown. Well, her dress kinda outstands the most, but she still finds it boring. Her form-fitting nightgown was a pristine black along with the diamonds sticking against her dress. The silk caressed her skin like a cool autumn breeze.

Furthermore, she's here to celebrate their company's accomplishments throughout all of these years.

She leaned back and let out a heavy sigh. She wished that she should've ditch tonight's occasion and be with her bestfriend, Jisoo. Who's at the club, enjoying every moment in there. She took a deep breath before standing up. She looked around, trying to see any sight of familiar faces, but instead..she saw her father conversing with her uncle. She rolled her eyes and before she turns her back on them. She felt a masculine hands on her wrist, gripping firmly to stop her trails.

She looked up and immediately scowled at him, she huffed and tried to remove his hands off her. "Calm down Jennie" He murmured and placed his other hand on her waist. Jennie hissed when she felt the uncomfortable sensation when the moment he touched her, although she knew it was just a playful act between them. She can't resist his touch freely.

"Hands off Kai" she warned with her dark and smooth voice, enough for him to follow.

"How disgusting" he heard her mutter, Kai just chuckled it off and pats her shoulder, at least trying to control Jennie's boredom and irritation.

"Hey, you're rude, why don't we have some fun time tonight?" He suggested, but Jennie didn't answer back and frowned at him, clearing his hands off her shoulders once again. "You sound like a stupid pervert who's trying to make a decent attempt to get on someone's pants"

"Yah Jennie! I am still your cousin! keep your mouth shut—"

"Whatever, I'm leaving," She deadpanned as she puts her hand up into the air, showing her keys and gave Kai a tiny smile after.

Although Jennie knew that she should insist on herself and let the event finish just for once, for the sake of being one of the models of their company. She couldn't have cared less,, She was just forced to become one and she hates the fact that her father is controlling her judgment and determination totally pisses her off, but before she leaves Kai hanging, Lastly, she turned around and asked, "You know my new photographer right?" She stopped and Kai slowly nodded at her. Jennie continued "Where is she? Mom told me she will come".

Kai gulps before answering and scratches his nape. "She called earlier and said she couldn't come, She still has some important business to do" he clarified, hoping Jennie would understand it. Kai was also working with Jennie, being an exquisite cousin he is. He won't let Jennie down. He spent his entire childhood with her and saw how she went through hardships especially her relationship with her father.

"Is that so?" Jennie replied and suddenly left, meanwhile Kai is just standing still on his position, not moving a muscle with his phone on his hand, then gazed at Jennie's new photographer's contact name displayed on his screen. Lalisa Manoban appears to have an intriguing name.
