Zaara:
We reached home...and then slowly went in and kept the wedding cake in the fridge. Our home was now buzzing with our relatives and friends, along with the tiny screeches of kids.
Just as we entered Deedi's room...It was full of Deedi's friends...chattering....laughing...
And Deedi....well...She...Maa Sha Allah...She looks so happy...Her friends are chattering...
"Hey, Rai...you look so beautiful...not that ordinary beautiful...Way more Beauuuuutiful...Maa Sha Allah", says one of her friends...
The other girls said in a chorus,
"MAA SHA ALLAH"...and they giggled.
Hearing this,Deedi looked at us...blushing.
I and Lamees exchanged looks, and then we looked at Deedi, we giggled, but immediately controlled it,
"Deedi looks so puzzled", said Lamees giggling.
"Looks like she is thinking whether they are complimenting or teasing her " I whispered to her.
Deedi looked at us, she knew we were talking about her, she clamped her lips to control her laughter.
But the friends were genuine in what they said, coz Deedi really looked beautiful, Maa Sha Allah.

In the kitchen, Grandma, Fareeda Aunty, my own Aunts, Nadeera Aunty (Lamees's mom) and even Haleema Aunty was busy cooking , helping and talking with everyone so cheerfully.
Haya was with us, a very polite and cute girl.  We all had lunch together. Even Deedi's friends joined with us, and it was fun talking with them.

Poor, Lamees, as she has cut her hand, I feeded her Lunch. May Allah bless her vast heart, it's because of me she got this wound,  no one would have helped me like she did. Thousands of Praise to Allah for gifting me with such a beautiful friend.
"Okay, Zaaru, I'm going now, will come back after a shower", said Lamees.
As she was about to go, she turned to me and said,
"Guess, who's here? "
I looked at her back...
Zaeem was there ,chatting and laughing with Lukman, I had seen them helping Baba and Uncles in placing the chairs and tables... never looked at his face though..coz ...you know....he is a non mahram...
And...Obviously,Lamees was about to tease me, just then we saw the young man who came to the bakery...Hadiya Deedi's bro.
He bumped his fist to Zaeem, saying,
"Ma man, Assalaamualaikkum"
"Waalaikumussalam, Imran", they hugged.

"Imran", Lamees was muttering, but never did she look at him, Good girl.
"Yes.... Imran? ", I played with her words.
"Nothing", she shrugged looking at me.
"Nothing? ", Now Iam enjoying playing with her, hehehee...
"That's his name, that's all", she shrugged again.
"Yeah, better if you lowered your gaze", I said.
"I didn't look at him....Aarghh....Enough, Iam going, okay", she hit me with her elbow chuckling.
"Assalaamualaikkum"
"Waalaikumussalam"

Lamees
As I walked towards the doorsteps to go,  I saw Aabid Uncle(Zaara's dad) talking with my Abbu,Lukman, Zaeem Bhai and Imran.
Lukman was introducing him,
"Uncle, Abbu, meet Imran, my college senior, now he is working as an engineer"
"Assalaamualaikkum", says Imran.
They all Replied 'Waalaikumussalam' and shook hands.
Then Lukman was saying this and that, and then,
as I reached the doorstep, his gaze slowly turned onto me, then all the heads turned to me.
"What's that in your hand?", asked Lukman his eyebrows raised.
"Ya Allah, that's a big wrapping you have got there, what happened, Lamees baetta? ", asked Aabid Uncle.
"That's.....Nothing, Uncle", I said waving my other hand.
"No, it IS something, show me", said Abbu.
I showed my hand to him, he observed it, and said,
"Anyway,  it's ok, no bleeding"
"...coz it's wrapped cleanly and tightly, well done", said Zaeem Bhai nodding at me.
I suddenly couldn't suppress my lips,

" He wrapped it for me", I exclaimed pointing at Imran..
For a moment, I looked at Imran, he looked at me astonished, but immediately we both averted our gaze.
Everyone turned to Imran.

I had to narrate the incidents( not the 'cupcake' part and all)....and then...

"That's ma man, The mature person ever", said Lukman patting  Imran's shoulder.
"Jazaakkallahu Khair, son, this girl you know, sometimes she is just so careless " said Abba smiling.
"And reckless", chimed in Lukman.
"No,Lukman, don't say that,  she is a very good girl", said Aabid Uncle.
I smiled at Aabid Uncle, Oh, that was so kind of you, Uncle.

"Yeah, good girl, when she is asleep", said my annoying brother, Lukman.
Every one laughed.
I narrowed my eyes at Lukman, you..... how dare you insult me, Mr.Lukmanul Hakeem.

I said Salam and departed.

On the way, I was completely impressed by him, Imran...Maa Sha Allah, he didn't dare look at me, Iam sure, he respects all the rules of Islam...and he really didn't boast about himself,  when they all thanked and praised about his manners...He remained so humble.
Maa Sha Allah...Such young people are rare these days.
