"Did you find anything in the red cabinet?" Ten asked Jeno.
"Just candy wrappers." Jeno answered, shuffling through the drawer of a desk in the corner.
Jeno's answer wasn't met by a response from Ten as he himself was also searching through the drawer of another desk.
I stood near the walls of the room, watching rather awkwardly while the members looked through various desks, drawers, and cabinets.
We had climbed another set of stairs which led us to the third floor. Unlike the first two floors, this one wasn't empty.
While we made our way to the stairs, I noticed each of the members had firearms on them. All of them appeared to be pistols, but their shapes and colors varied.
I didn't know what I was expecting them to do for the task, but this wasn't it.
From arriving at a mysterious, secluded area to Mark's panicked rush to the members' shocked and irritated reactions upon seeing me and finally to the sight of their guns, I honestly expected more action rather than them looking through drawers and occasionally asking one another if they had found anything.
But then again, who am I to judge when I'm quite literally doing nothing?
Yuta let out a heavy breath and stood up while turning around to look at the others.
"Anything so far?" he asked them.
Each gave him either a response of "No" or "Nope".
The sound of shuffling slowly subsided as each each of them completed searching the desks they were assigned to look through.
Once they were all finished, they stood up and looked at each other.
"Nothing?" Taeyong asked, checking each of the member's faces separately.
They all shook their heads and looked towards Yuta as if habitually waiting for him to give the next order.
"Do you think it could be on any of the upper floors?" Yuta asked Ten, now crossing his arms and leaning his rear against the desk.
"Kun said it should only be on this floor." Ten responded.
"What's on the other floors?" Yuta continued asking.
"Think, like-" Ten began as his eyes shifted up, trying to remember. "- just their gambling stuff."
"They let players pass through their office?" Taeyong asked.
"I guess." Ten shrugged.
"It's 'cause they like the view." Mark informed them.
"There's a view from there?" Yuta asked, slightly raising his voice from curiousity.
"Yeah, at night." Mark answered. "They can see the valley and lights from the cities up there."
"Have you gambled here before?" Jeno asked Mark, with raised eyebrows and an exaggerated suspicion in his voice.
