The cool night summer air hit us once we stepped foot outside of the mall. Yuta walked in front of me while I stayed behind, carrying the bag with the dresses in them.

I continued following behind him as we walked along the concrete around the edges of the mall until going on the black pavement. We began passing by the parked cars as I observed the parking lot. I watched as a family was heading back to their car while a pair of young adults were just arriving.

I smiled slightly when I saw a father playing with their toddler while on their way to enter the mall, the child's laugh pure and loud. After they left my vision, I turned my head back forward.

I then noticed that we were practically towards the end of the parking lot and Yuta still wasn't heading towards any of the last few cars.

"Hey- uh- where are we going?" I asked as I quickened my pace to get closer to Yuta.

"The car." Yuta said as we walked past the last car on the row.

"But we just-" I turned my head from the parked cars to see that we were entering the concrete of the sidewalk along the main road.

"Is the car parked on the street?" I asked.

"Taeil is coming to pick us up." Yuta responded.

"Taeil?" I asked.

"Yeah, he heading over right now."

"Couldn't we just have waited for him at the front of the mall?"

"It's easier for us to just walk over to a more secluded place."

Secluded?

I know NCT does plenty of suspicious things, but why did we need to be picked up in a secluded area?

"...why does it have to be secluded?" I asked, with suspicion in my voice.

"It's better than a crowded parking lot of a mall." Yuta responded.

"But-"

"Holy shit, why do you ask much questions?" Yuta asked, with no attempt to hide his annoyance.

I immediately closed my mouth from the sudden remark from Yuta.

He's right though, that was a lot of questions.

But then again...

"Shouldn't I be questioning what kind of car I'll be getting into?" I asked, looking up at Yuta.

"You didn't seem to question what kind of house you were getting yourself into." Yuta retorted back.

"You mean...your house?" I asked.

"No, the white house." Yuta responded with a such a straight face and monotone voice, I actually wondered if he was serious.

Yuta looked down at me before adding "No shit, my house."
