<Daryl's POV>

"Daryl what are we going to do?"Beth whispers. She lays on top of me on the cold, hard, floor. Her blonde waves spiral on my shoulder. I sigh.

"I don't know," is all I can say.

"It has to be morning now, that means Carol has been gone for awhile. We need to find her before we escape." I nod in agreement. "Daryl, what if we get the chance to escape, but don't have time to come back for Carol?" She asks curiously. I stay quiet for a moment before answering.

"Then we must go," is all I say. I sigh and think peacefully until a loud clanging comes from the opening door. The sunlight hits me like a bomb. When my eyes shuts I see Carol and the rest of us behind her.

"Come on, we gotta go!" Carol screams. Beth and I jump up and start to run with the group. Michonne passes me my crossbow.

Glenn stumbles behind us with his bullet wound holding him back. Gunshots start to fire. Well this turned to shit fast.

Guns start to fire and battle is immediate. We start to run in our tight group, but Beth holds me back by my arm. "We have to save the others in the other train cars," she says. Her eyes, those crystal blue eyes that make you feel as if you are swimming in an endless ocean look up at me with desperation. I nod my head and she flips her head around to run to he train cars, resulting in her blonde waves rippling over her green tank top clad shoulder.

We break the locks and people rush out. By the time we are done our group is mixed with countless other people and I loose sight of Beth. I try desperately to find her hand, but I am pulled away by dozens of others. Her name echoes off my lips, but is lost in the sea of rushing bodies.

Out of the corner of my eye I see a flash of blonde. Before her name can even leave my lips a bullet makes its way into her head.

I see red. Red on her hair, running down the back of her neck. The world doesn't even let me see her face one last time. Her body never turns to look at me. Those blue eyes never make a reappearance. All I see is the back of a dead blondes head.

A strong hand grabs my forearm and starts to pull me away. I think they shout my name, but the ringing sound overpowers the voice. Eventually, I turn my head to see Michonne pulling me along.

Stumbling blind, Michonne leads me to the rest of the group and we escape the hell hole that was supposed to be safe. The hell hole that killed the one person I really ever let close to me.

The hell hole that killed my Beth.
