A/N Sorry for the long wait! I hope you guys enjoy this chapter!

<Daryl's POV>

I wake up to the sounds of light whimpering. I open my eyes wider and see Michonne sitting beside a lying Rick. He is still, pale, and blood covered. I see that Michonne is the one crying. The smell of rotten flesh fills my nose. I see we are surrounded my dead walker bodies. When I try to get up to go over to her my shoulder flares up in pain. I whimper causing Michonne to turn her head at me. She doesn't help me up she just goes back to staring at Rick. Finally I fight through the antagonizing pain and move my way over to Rick. The sight I see us unbearable. Ricks arm now ends in a stump from about three inches above his wrist. The opening is gushing blood. I try to find his pulse. It's there but it's very weak. Only then does Michonne finally speak.

"I-I didn't know what to do," and that is all she says. I try to rip off my jacket, shirt, and belt but the dagger in my shoulder stops me. Come on Daryl grow a pair! Merle's voice naggs me in my head. I hold the handle of the dagger so hard my knuckles turn white. I close my eyes and pull. I let out a loud scream. Quickly I ignore the excruciating pain in my shoulder and take off my jacket, shirt, and belt. With quick hands I tie my belt above Ricks wound. I pull tight on it so it slows the blood flow. I then cover the opening with my shirt and then my jacket. It bleeds through quick.

"Michonne listen to me, if we want him to live we need to stop this blood flow. Give me your vest and bandanna. Then I want you to give me one of the canteens of water that we have," I say to her so fast I don't know how she understands me. Soon enough I have her vest and bandanna in my hands. She reaches into our bag and pulls out the canteen of water. "Okay now pour some in his mouth, he needs fluids!" I am worried now he is bleeding to fast and if he dies I know I won't be able to shoot him down as a walker. He has bleed through everything we have put on the opening. I am running out of ideas. Wait. I have a lighter. I remember Hershel once talking about a way to stop bleeding my burning the ends of the arteries. I think it's because it seals them together. I grab my lighter from my pocket. Then I raise Ricks arm so the blood isn't flowing directly out. At least now it is being forced down.

I take my lighter and carefully go all over the opening with the flame. The bleeding starts to slow. I grin because of the progression we have made. Michonne walks behind me and touches my shoulder wound. I cringe. "Here let me take care of that," she says. She takes the bottom of her shirt and rips it off. She puts it on the gash to stop the bleeding. Now that I am not so concentrated on Rick the pain is starting to return. I am about to say thank you to her when I hear a gasp. I look down to see that Rick's eyes are open.

"Rick!" He doesn't answer, he just keeps gasping for air. If he moves to much the seal on the arteries is going to pop. "Rick you have to stop moving!" He keeps gasping.

"Water!" He says. I can barely understand him. I grab the canteen and pour some down his throat. He lies still again but his eyes stay open. I take his pulse again. It is pretty much back to normal.

<Beth's POV>

I hear screams from about a mile away. I just hope it isn't from the group. Then again that could be a good thing because if they survive they can save me. Wait no don't think like that. Geez I'm so self centered. Carl walks up to me with a canteen full of water. "Thirsty?" I am really thirsty but I refuse to speak to Carl. "Alright your choice," he says then gulping down the water. I sit there wondering for about a half an hour if that scream I heard came from the group. Most importantly if it came from Daryl. I think it's around noon now. I hear rustling in the nearby area behind me. I hope it isn't a walker because if still strapped to this tree unable to protect myself.

I hear a hushed voice in my ear. "Beth we are getting you out of here just hold tight." The voice seems familiar. I know exactly who it is. I answer back with an okay. Relief floods through my body. Out of the blue two people attack Carl and knock him out. They come over to me and cut the ropes that bind me to this all to familiar tree. It's feels good to stretch my arms. I hug my to saviors.

"Thank you!" I tell them excitingly. I am so happy that Maggie and Glenn found me and rescued me. "How did you know were I was?"

"We saw a fire and we wanted to check it out to see if it was one of the group members. We saw you were tied up and we assumes it was by Carls doing so we watched you one night just to make sure that Carl was responsible for this then we made our plan and rescued you!" Glenn says smiling.

"That's great and all but what so we do with Carl?"I ask not wanting to see him ever again.

"Well I know you aren't going to like this but you know if We ever meet up with Rick he would be pissed if we just left him so I say we tie his hands and tie a cloth around his mouth and bring him with us," Maggie answers. I know she is right so I nod and then after we get Carl who's hat falls off but I don't care we set off. I tell Maggie and Glenn that Daryl, Michonne, and Rick are together and I was taken from them. We set off to find them. We head east from where we are standing now.

<Daryl's POV>

I want to get back to looking for Beth and Carl so I suggest that I can carry Rick. After some arguing Michonne agrees and we head out. After walking about a mile we make it to what seems to be a campsite that someone was staying at. That's when I see Carl's hat on the ground. This was there campsite. I see Michonne see the hat to. We both nod knowing this is where they were. After some discussion we head east to look for Beth and Carl.
