We get out of the car and my hand is tightly clasped in his as he leads me to a rock overlooking the lake. I hear the water rushing, sweeping over the tiny rocks in the water. There are other people there, in twos and in threes. Some chatting away and laughing, others, couples holding hands and enjoying the view. I'm happy Ayo brought me to his happy place, I feel like a girl in a movie.
We sit and talk for what feels like hours, randomly skimming from subject to subject , Ayo well versed in all of them. I have found my person and it feels like I died and went to heaven. At 6:30pm we decide it's time to go. The drive home is filled with jokes and singing. I'm so happy I feel like I could burst, I decide if Ayo doesn't make the first move I will.
