Lyric was laying down on her bed watching shadow hunters for the millionth time to where her phone buzzed next to her.

"Hey Julie what's up?"

"If you see Luke please let me know"

"Julie what you do?"

"I think I over stepped, i gave Luke's mom the song he wrote for her"

"Oh Julie, what happened once you gave it to her?"

"He started to sing it, but when he finished I could practically hear his sobs and he poofed away"

"Okay well, if I see him I'll let you know"

Just as she hung up she felt a presence besides her. "Lyric.." The boys eyes was puffy. He looked completely distraught, "oh, Luke" she said as he made his way to her.
She layed his head on her lap and ran her fingers through his hair.

"I didn't except to see Julie there, I was just going to see her one more time just in case I'd never see her again" he let's out a breath like he has been holding for the longest time. "Luke you're okay, don't worry about it–" just then he groaned as the purple jolt hit him again. "Hey, you're okay. Luke breathe" she grabs the boys hand. "Luke you don't have a lot of time. You have to tell Julie tonight."

He nods in agreement before the girl bends down and places a kiss on his forehead. "I'll see you later" she whispered before he poofed away

"Lyric?" The girl looks up to see Luke once again a few hours later. "How'd Julie take it?" She spoke. "Not very well at first. But she finally agreed to play the Orpheum," The girl nods. "But that's not what I came here for." Luke sits on her bed and pulls out a piece of paper out of his pocket. "If I do say so myself," he grinned "I think our voices are quite good together" he adds on "sing this with me?"

The girl looked at the paper and seen where the boy had highlighted parts of the song where they sing solo, or together. "Do this for me? It might be our last chance to sing together.." Lyric scanned the boys face, noticing the sparkle he had in his eye as he talked about the song. "Sure Luke. I'll sing it." Luke poofed his guitar in and starts to play the first note.

By the time the two had finished they were closer to eachother than they realized. It was just a long minute of them staring into eachothers eyes, until her brother knocked on her door making Luke poof away.
