Tanjiro, Giyu and Nezuko entered their apartment after dropping Zenitsu off at his place.

Besides good nights, they were silent to each other. The air was too thick to have a conversation and Giyu had to get ready to talk their competitor Muzan the next day.

In his room, Tanjiro pulled out his phone. He wanted to schedule a shift at work the next day to keep he mind busy.

However, unfortunately for him all of the shifts were full. Great.

Hopefully a good night's sleep would cure everything.

The next morning Tanjiro woke up from Giyuu shaking him.

"I don't want you being here alone, get dressed and come to work with me."

Tanjiro rubbed his eyes and groaned as he sat up.

"Ok I'll be right out." He said.

He didn't want to go, he just wanted to me alone, but he also didn't want to fight more.

Giyuu left the room and waited by the door.

After a few minutes Tanjiro tiredly walked to the door, picking up the order's car key and placing them in his hand.

After walking to the car in silence, Giyuu spoke up.

"I'll be talking to a businessman who wants to buy the company today."

"Great." Tanjiro yawned and leaned his head on the window.

"So you can walk around and eat in the break room or whatever." He stated while driving.

"Ok." Tanjiro mumbled.

"But don't eat the muffins because Shinobu poisoned them."

"Mhmm."

Giyuu sighed. Tanjiro wasn't even listening to him. And the rest of the car ride was silent as Tanjiro took a short nap.

He was awoken by the sudden stopping of the car in the company parking lot.

They both promptly got out of the car and went up the elevator. Tanjiro leaned on Giyuu as the elevator hummed upwards but he was awoken by the flooding of bright light from the office.

"I will be in the main meeting room, you know where that is. And you can go where ever you'd like." He smiled patted Tanjiro on the shoulder before parting ways.

Tanjiro decided to walk to the break room, waving to people that he knew on the way.

He sat down on a bench and rested he head on the table. Finally he'd get his ready.

But he didn't.

He jolted awake from the sound of a water bottle hitting the bottom of a vending machine.

"Oh, sorry about that." A white haired young man said.

"'S fine." He rubbed his eyes.

"I'm Rui." He extended a hand and Tanjiro shove it.

"Tanjiro Kamado." He responded.

Rui softly laughed. "I don't know why but you remind me of my ex. He died but, something about you."

"Oh I'm sorry, almost all of my family died so I understand."

Rui sat next to him, placing his water on the table.

"My parents also died in...an accident. There's this guy, kinda acts like a father, but isn't not the same as someone can be truly close to you." He moved in closer to Tanjiro's face.

"That's such a coincidence, a friend who works here let's me stay at his house! And my sister's really close to me!" He beamed.

Rui backed away hearing that Tanjiro didn't get his message.

Thankfully the silence was quickly interrupted by a knock on the door.

"Rui. Time to go back to the meeting." Muzan said.

"See you around maybe." Rui said as he walked out of the the door.

The two walked into the win meeting room and Rui stood in front of a power point.

"As I was saying, this is an offer that you can't refuse. And if you do, then we will forcefully replace you and none of you will leave with anything." He coldly stated.

"Also, none of the current employees will be replaced. If that puts any of you minds at ease." Muzan chimed in.

Everyone one silent. It was true, they couldn't refuse. But they doesn't mean that they can't draw it out.

"Excellent points! We will discuss it and get back to you as soon as possible!" Rengoku claps.

"That's...fine." Muzan's eye twitched.

They gathered their things and left.

"Ok everyone, I have no idea what we can do. As far as I know there is nothing. So everyone gets the day off!" He threw a pile of papers in the air and walked out of the room.

Giyuu rubbed his temples and walked out the door to find Tanjiro.

But what he found made his head hurt even more.

Muzan and Rui talking and smiling to Tanjiro.

"Excuse me but we have to go." Giyuu interrupted them.

"Oh ok, it was nice to meet you both!" He said as he was pulled away.

"...What did they say to you?" Giyuu asked in the elevator.

"They offered me a job but I declined of course. I just gave them my number to be nice." Tanjiro smiled.

"Ugh, Tanjiro you shouldn't have talked to those sons of bitches."
