Chapter 3

Fuck POVs

Like all days Tanjiro left for work and was excited to see if the mysterious person would come to the café again.

Being hopeful, Tanjiro had a secret plan on what he would do if he did come.

And sure enough, he did

Inosuke confidently walked up to the counter

"Hello again welcome, same as yesterday?" Tanjiro smiled

Inosuke blushed why does he have to be so damn cute "tsk, yeah, you probably don't remember though"

Tanjiro laughed, "how could I forget you? Iced americano and a chocolate croissant!"

"Gah!" He choked on his words but tried to remain calm, "y-yeah whatever"

Tanjiro fixed his order while Inosuke pretended to check a text in his phone

Then, when the order was ready, Tanjiro put his plan into motion, the coffee cup that he was giving to Inosuke had his phone number on it!

Tanjiro made sure that he saw it and said, "text me" and then winked

"I- wel- um-" he stuttered in his words

"H-hey I was supposed to say that!" He madly blushed

"welp, I guess you were too late" Tanjiro stuck his tongue and went back to work.

"ohhhhhh" Zenitsu said in the back

"sh-shut up! yo-you wanna fight?" Inosuke yelled

"AH!" Zen ran to the back room

And Inosuke walked out, happy

~time skip to late at night~

I- Hey It's that hansume guy from the cafe, Inosuke

T- Hi, I'm glad you texted me

I- Of corse I wodn't miss out a chance too talk to a cutie like you ;)

T- lol you definitely seem more confident then when we talk in person

I- shut up
btw do you have work tomarow?

T- no, that's my day off...would you want to go out with me that day?

I- Hey come on I was supposed to ask you that!!!

T- you gotta be fast
meet me at this address: xxx Street, room 303, at 5:30

~time skip~

Inosuke looked up at his phone and then at the apartment number and then rang the bell

From inside the apartment Tanjiro pressed the intercom, "Hey! The door's open!"

He took a step back as the door unlocked and became open ajar, then he walked to room number that he was given

Then he got to the door and right before he was about to knock on the door, Tanjiro opened the door.

"I'm so glad you could make it! Oh my goodness you brought flowers! You picked such a beautiful color! And you...you look so pretty"

Inosuke blushed and looked to the side, "th-thanks"

"Ah! where are my manners, please come in! here, I'll take your coat, dinner is almost ready, so while that's cooking, lets sit in the living room, I want to hear about you"

"Well I live right outside of the city" he said still shook from being thrown into a new place, but then he remembered his pride and ego, and spoke more confidently, "it's great cause it's surrounded by woods so you don't even know you're so close to the city, and ever since my parents died, I get the whole place to myself."

"Oh- well I'm very sorry about your parents dying but the house sounds really nice, I used to take a lot of walks in nature with my family before they um- well anyway, I'd love to maybe visit it someday?'

Inosuke blushed and coughed to try to cover it up, "Yeah, um maybe sure...So after they kicked the bucket they left me their business, it's X Business I'm sure you've heard of it, it's pretty famous. But I was to young to inherit it at the time so I just started running it."

"That's so cool!"

𝘸𝘩𝘺 𝘪𝘴 𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘰 𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘦, 𝘮𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘰𝘧𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘐'𝘮 𝘢 𝘥𝘶𝘮𝘣 𝘬𝘪𝘥 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘨𝘰𝘵 𝘢 𝘫𝘰𝘣 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘯𝘦𝘱𝘰𝘵𝘪𝘴𝘮" Inosuke thought

beep beep beep

"Well that's the timer, please come to the table"

Tanjiro went over to the stove and turned of the flame. Then he proceeded to serve the food into two shallow bowls and then he brought them to the table.

"Is this-"

"Rice Curry! I hope you like it!" Tanjiro finished his sentence "One sec, before we start I'll get us some wine"

Inosuke looked at the dish and his mouth watered, he hadn't had a home-cooked meal since his parents had past. He had either been ordering food or been eating at the super fancy restaurants that he had to attend for stupid meetings.

Tanjiro came back and filled both of their glasses with wine.

"Let's eat!" Tanjiro said

𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺, Inosuke thought

"Itadakimasu" they both said, and they started eating

"By the way I'm sorry you had to come to my place on the first date, but whenever I thought of a cute date place, all I could imagine was a cafe and I work at one so" Tanjiro laughed

"N-no, this, this is really nice" Inosuke admitted

Tanjiro smiled, 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘦, he thought

They both happily finished their meal, then they lost track of time in each others eyes

"I don't really want to but it's real late so I should go"

"Yeah it's a good thing you have a car I don't think the subways are running"

Then they walk out the door unsure of what to say to eachother

"Well I guess you shou-" Tanjiro started but then was interrupted by Inosuke's soft lips

Tanjiro was very surprised

"I'm sorry, I-I should've asked"

"No"

And then Tanjiro kissed Inosuke but this time deeper

Their tongues entered eachothers mouths and fought for dominance

Tanjiro won and exploited every part of Inosuke's mouth, memorizing each and every part, but then he pulled away

"Why did you pull away" he asked

"I don't want this to go to far especially on our first date, but I want you to know that I really really like you and for more then just your body."

"thank you" he smiled

"I'll see you later"

Inosuke waved goodbye and Tanjiro closed the door when he could no longer see him
