"So," Mr. Washington said as he looked at the group of teens that included Philip, Frances, Angie, William, Theodosia, and Georges, and then back at the broken coffee pot in front of them.

"Who broke it?" he continued. There was a long pause before Theo said something.

"I did, I broke it I-" she started but he cut her off. "No. No you didn't. Angie?" he asked the teen who was reading a book.

"Don't look at me, look at Will." she answered. The boy beside her went wide eyed.

"What?! I didn't break it!" he said. Angie then shut her book to stand up and look at him in the face.

"Oh really? Then, how did you even know it was broken?" she asked putting her hands on her hips. The boy gestured at the coffee pot in front of them.

"Because it's sitting right in front of us, and it's broken."

"Hmmmm, suspicious."

"No, it's not" he said while he facepalmed. Then Philip spoke up with his hands in his sweatshirt pocket.

"If it matters, which probably not but, Frances was the last to touch it." he said tilting his head in the direction of her, making the girl gasp.

"LIAR! I don't even drink that crap!" she yelled at him.

"Oh really, then what were you doing by the coffee cart earlier?"

"I use the little wooden stirs to push back my cuticles, everyone knows that Philip!" she yelled leaning over and putting her finger in his face.

"Alright, alright let's not fight. I broke it let me pay for it Mr-" Theo started but again, she was cut off by Mr. Washington.

"No. WHO BROKE IT?" he asked the teens again.

Philip leaned towards him. "Hey, Georges has been awfully quiet." he whispered. Georges eyes went wide.

"REALLY?!"

"YEAH REALLY"

"O MY GOD!" he yelled throwing his hands in the air. Then the chaos ensued.

"I broke it" Mr. Washington told Theo outside the room as he watched Frances tackle Will to the ground. The stared at him confused.

"It burned my hand so I punched it." he said. Then he shrugged and walked away.
