In the Rain ~Kageyama

~Chapter Three~

When you woke up it was dark outside. You pulled your phone out of your pocket to check the time.

9:27 pm

Wow, it's late. You hadn't eaten yet so you went to get up to make some food. Then you realize Kageyama's arms and leg was still wrapped around you. You managed to squeeze out of his grasp without waking him up. 

You sneak out of his room and down the stairs. You pull out the ingredients to make pancakes and turn on the stove. You were flipping pancakes when you felt your phone vibrate in your pocket. You pull it out and read the message.

Kageyama-

Where are you?

Y/n-

Downstairs making pancakes. Want some?

Kageyama-

No. Come Back.

Now.

Y/n-

Uh ok? I'll be up in a sec. with some pancakes.

Kageyama-

thx.

You put your phone back in your pocket and flipped the last pancake. You were sooo confused. Why was he acting like this? You walk into the room.

"It's so dark in here," you said as you flicked the light switch on.

Kageyama shuddered uncomfortably. He groaned and sat up in bed. You walked over to him and handed him a plate of pancakes. You sat down next to him with yours.

"What has been up with you lately?" You said with a mouth full of pancakes.

"I don't know what you mean." He slowly shoved more food into his mouth.

"You wouldn't let me leave the locker room without you, and last night you didn't want me to leave the room." He looked up at you and then back down at his empty plate.

"I just- you know-"

"No, I don't know, that's why I asked." You laughed at his silly response.

"I-i l-like you." He stood up started walking to his desk.

"oh uh-" You were surprised but not angry.

"It's ok Y/n, I know you don't feel the same just needed to get that off of my chest-"

"What are you talking about, of course I feel the same. You're the only person I feel safe around. I wouldn't want to be with anyone else." You've liked him for a while but never had the guts to say anything.

"Wait. Seriously?" He looked up at you surprised. He was blushing like crazy which made you laugh.

"Yes seriously, have I ever lied to you? Don't answer that," You both laugh, and then I hit you. What now?

"So, what now?"It was almost like he read your mind. But you didn't know the answer to his question.

"I actually have no clue. Uh- wanna watch a movie?" It was the best you could come up with.

"That's a great idea." He said while smirking at you. You gave out a short sigh when he grabbed your hand and led you out of the room. 

"Where are we going?" He continued to walk down the stairs.

"Just to the living room." 

"But you have a tv in your room?"

"Ok, and?" You let out a small laugh.

You both sat down on the couch. You saw Kageyama reaching for the remote but you grabbed it first. 

"Hey, I was reaching for that! Give it back!"

"Oh yeah, make me!" you got off of the couch and ran away. You heard him sigh loudly and jump off of the couch.

"Get back here!"

"No, you gotta catch me first!" you ran as fast as you could up the stairs and locked yourself in Kageyama's room. You sat on his bed and waited for him.

"Y/n. . .open the door. Now." You didn't make a sound. But then the door bust open and you see Kageyama standing there with a key in his hand.

"Oh no." 

"Get over here now." You slowly stood up and began to walk over to him. Yot to him and looked up at him.

"Why would you run away from me like that?" He looked down at you and smirked 

"I don't know, I just wanted to mess with you I guess." you smiled at him and began to walk under his arm that was propped up on the door frame. He grabbed you by the waist and pulled you into his chest giving you butterflies.  

"Don't walk away from me Y/n." 

"Oh sorry," you said trying to hide your flustered face. he grabbed your hand again and walked you back down to the couch. He took the remote out of your hand and put on ____(your favorite movie).

"Ooooo I love this movie," you said almost jumping up and down with excitement.

"I know you do," Kageyama said laughing and admiring you. You both sat down and started watching the movie. About 20 minutes in you realize Kageyama had scooted all the way over to you, he grabbed you and placed you on his lap, and hugged you. You didn't know why but almost imminently you felt your eyelids become heavy, right before you fell asleep in Kageyama's arms he kissed you on the cheek.

"I love you Y/n." He said thinking you were asleep.

"I love you too Kageyama." you managed to spit out before dozing off. He hugged you a little tighter and fell asleep too.
