In the Rain ~Kageyama

~Chapter four~

You woke up but this time you didn't want to get up. You were so comfortable in Kageyama's arms. But you two weren't on the couch anymore, you were in his bed. You don't remember walking up there last night, He must've carried you.

You felt Kageyama squirm awake.

"Good morning!" You say as he stretches awake.

"Good morning. What time is it?" He yawned and got up to open the curtains on the window. 

"Uhhhh let me check." You went to pull your phone out of your pocket but it wasn't there. You search around the bed but you still couldn't find it.

"Have you see my phone." 

"Yeah it fell out of your pocket when I carried you up here last night, so I put it on the nightstand." You roll your eyes and reach for your phone on the nightstand.

8:00 am

"It's only 8, wanna go get some breakfast?" You said hopping out of bed to go to your room and get dressed. 

"Yeah, go get ready I'll drive." 

"Oooo yay!" Kageyama laughed at your enthusiasm on your way out the door.

You went to your room and put on your favorite pair of jeans and a pretty crop top. 

"KAGS???" you yelled.

"Yes Y/n?" he said sounding slightly annoyed.

"What shoes should I wear???"

"How would I know idiot."

"Come here and help me choose!"

"Whatever." He came in wearing an off white crewneck and some black jeans with his black Vans.

"Oooo looking good," you said with the biggest smile on your face.

"Shut up and pick some damn shoes already" he replied blushing fiercely.

"That's the problem I need you to help me pick. Do I wear my black Dr. Martins or my black vans?

"I would go with Dr. Martins, they would match your outfit more." 

"Wow look whos a fashion expert now." You said laughing at him.

"You asked for my help dumbass." He said trying not to laugh along with you.

You two went downstairs and hopped in his car. 

"Where do you wanna go?" He said starting the engine.

"Wanna go get some pancakes?"

"We just had pancakes last night??"

"Soooooo?"

"I am not eating pancakes again."

"Waffles?" He laughed at your simple suggestions and started driving.

"Let's just go get some milk bread." He said while laughing.

"Ugh, okayyyy." You put your seat belt on and he started driving to the nearest place that had milk bread. You looked up the directions to the closest milk bread shop.

"I looked it up on my phone and the closest place with milk bread is about 10 minutes away."

"That's kinda far but I don't mind."

"ok sounds good, I am going to put on some music, kk?"

"uh sure." You plug the aux cord into your phone and put your playlist on shuffle. The first song that came on was "Potential Breakup Song" by Aly & Aj. You started to sing along to the catchy lyrics.

"🎵I took too long, it took too long🎵" He joined in when "I'm a Slave for You" by Britney Spears came on. He kept trying to mimic Britney's voice and it was cracking you up, you both burst out laughing when he actually started to sound like her.

"You're such an idiot." You said still laughing like crazy.

"Oh shut up, you're just mad I'm better than you." He was also laughing but stopped when we pulled into the restaurant. 

"We aren't eating here." He said sounding mad out of nowhere.

"Wait what, why??" You had started to get your hopes up for some delicious milk bread. You look up to see Oikawa and Iwazumi through the window.

"Because Oikawa's here." You rolled your eyes and got out of the car. You walked over to his door and opened it.

"What are you doing? I said I don't want to eat here." You grab his wrist and pulled him out of the car. 

"I don't care we are eating here. stop being such a big baby."

"I am not being a baby!"

"Then let's go," you said trying not to laugh at his immaturity.

"Fine." He said in a low tone almost mumbling. 

You both walk into the restaurant and up to the counter to be seated. Of course, she leads you to the seat next to Oikawa and Iwaizumi. At this point, Kagyema was fuming. He huffed loudly and sat down in the chair.

"Oh hey, Kageyama." Oikawa greeted him. Kageyama rolled his eyes and didn't respond. 

"Hello, Oikawa. Sorry, he's being a big baby," you said with a sarcastic laugh.

"Hello Y/n, I haven't seen you in forever" He smiled at you and you smiled back. Then you turned to Kageyama who was starring at you.

"Pick what you want Kags."

"I already did, we came for milk bread so that's what I'm getting."

"Oh ok, me too." You didn't realize Oikawa staring at you but Kageyama did, and he wasn't happy about it.

"Tell him to stop staring at you." He said quietly so only you could hear him.

"What are you talking about? Oh, Oikawa?" He nodded and kicked you lightly under the table.

"What? Are you jealous?" You said laughing. He sighed. That's when you saw Oikawa standing up and start walking toward you two out of the corner of your eyes.

"I'm gonna kill him," Kageyama said quietly. You rolled your eyes and kicked him back under the table.

"Do you guys want to join us at our table?" Oikawa asked.

"no-" Kageyama began to reply but you cut him off.

"Yes, that would be great." You knew Kageyama wouldn't join voluntarily so you got up and grabbed his hand. You walked over with him, Oikawa sat down next to Iwaizumi on one side of the booth and you and Kageyama sat on the other.

"What will you four be having today?" Asked the waiter.

"Are you two getting milk bread too?" Asked Iwaizumi, he didn't talk as much as Oikawa but you could tell he was having a good time.

"Yes, we are." You laugh when you look and see Kageyama rolling his eyes.

"Uh, four servings of milk bread please." Iwaizumi said you could tell he was mature. He had to be to deal with Oikawa. You laugh at the very thought.

"What are you laughing at dumbass?" Kageyama was very upset and you could tell he didn't want to be there anymore. 

"Hey, we'll leave right after we eat. Okay?" You looked up at him with a smile on your face.

"That's not what I asked." He said looking away back out the window. Man, he was angry, maybe we should have left when he saw Oikawa. About 5 minutes later the plates of milk bread were brought out to the table.

"Ooooo this is going to be sooo good," you said getting excited over the food in front of you. everyone else at the table laughed at your enthusiasm. You glared playfully at all of them as you dug into your bread.
