Shorter chapter this time. I wanted to write something like this before we got into the Hero killer part of the story.

-(Y/N)'s POV-

"He added momentum and rotation to the huge blast he showed us in his fight with Uraraka!" Present Mic shouted, commenting on the fight that was happening between Bakugo and Todoroki for the final round. "He was like a human projectile! It looks like Todoroki didn't fire off the huge blast he used in his match with Midoriya, but the winner is..."

The smoke that coated the arena cleared, showing the remains of Todoroki's ice along with the shattered ground that broke when Bakugo used a special move he named "Howitzer Impact". The result was Bakugo on the ground while Todoroki was lying in a bed of his own ice, far out of bounds of the arena.

"Wait... what?" Rin asked. "Didn't Todoroki light his flames to face Howitzer Impact?"

"He must have put them out before the blast hit..." I realised, leaning forward over the railing. "Whatever reason he had for not using his fire before Midoriya... it must still be weighing on him a bit."

Everyone watched as Bakugo pushed himself up off the ground, his arms feeling the strain of using his special move, and started waling towards the seemingly unconscious Todoroki. He then sped up, running at the boy and climbing the ice to reach him before Bakugo grabbed Todoroki's shirt and shouted at him. He seemed pissed that Todoroki didn't go all out like he did versus Midoriya, though on the screens around the stadium that were showing the fight, he looked more distressed than angry. Eyes wide, hands shaking... and then he was unconscious as well, put to sleep by Midnight's quirk. Despite Bakugo's actions, the match still ended.

"Todoroki is out of bounds!" Midnight announced. "Which means Bakugo wins!"

The audience cheered and shouted, but no voices were heard coming from the class 1-A viewing area.

"That's a bad way to end it," Eiji said, appearing next to us as Mic announced the end of all the events for the first year U.A. Sports festival.

"Well, Todoroki's still processing, isn't he?" Chiyori asked. "I mean, he's done his best to avoid using fire so far, but even if Midoriya helped, it's a big step from that to using it freely."

"Yeah, it is," I agreed.

"Though I got used to Bind Dominator as soon as I used it again..." Eiji bragged, which got Rin to stand up and head for the exit. "Uh... where's she going?"

"To you, I'd guess," I said. "I'd expect a slap or two in your near future... Then again, you think it's a good idea to date her, so even if you haven't gone out together yet, you'll probably be getting slapped more than once or twice."

"I heard that!" Rin shouted at me.

"I know."

A little while later, all of the first years were gathered in the centre of the stadium for what I assume will be the award ceremony.

"All of the first year events for this year's U.A. sports festival have been completed," Midnight said. "And now, we will begin the award ceremony!" Music sounded and fireworks were set off, but it was all just stupid noise to me. I ended up covering my ears when explosions of smoke and confetti were set off right in front of where the students were.

From those smoke explosions though, the podium for first, second, and third places rose from the ground, with the first, second, and third place participants already on it. Chiyori was stood on third place, looking like she really didn't want to be in the spotlight. She smiled and waved a bit when she saw me though, leaving me to return the gestures. She seemed a little more confident after that.
