Oli's P.O.V.:
I went to school the next day knowing that I had friends who definitely had my back, my parents and my brother were coming into town tonight, and that everything was going to be okay.
I wouldn't think about the fact I'd given my virginity to a guy who fvcked his ex the next day. The ex who had ridiculed and hurt my friend. The ex who he let beat the shït out of me right in front of him. The ex-
Stop. I can't. You need to-you need to stop.
Lifting my hand, I asked to be excused from class, deciding to head to the library in hopes of finding some solitude in a corner of the library. I walked outside the school, trying very hard to keep my spirits up with the idea of Tom and my parents being home when I got out of school. I hadn't seen them since my first day of school. While Skype and messaging are nice, I still very much missed them.
I was slightly disappointed because they said they would visit more often. Dad said he would check on the business in the city at least twice a month and a part of me expected everyone to visit then too. I guess plane tickets were expensive though, so I didn't hold it against them. That would be a lot of money.
It was slightly chilly, so by the time I got to the library I was ready to find a warm hiding place and curl up for a nice nap. By this time in the school year, I knew what period Austin was in the library and what place he would be. I put the memories of he and I tucked away in his corner kissing and reading out of my mind as I decided to find a place under the stairs of my own. If he did find a way to come here during this period, he most definitely wouldn't look for me here.
I had just tucked myself away when I heard a psst to my right. I peeked my head up from behind the chairs to see Andy sitting on a window ledge not far from here. I grinned and beckoned him over with a finger. He flicked his cigarette out before coming to join me.
"Quite the set up you've got here." He said quietly settling under my blanket with me, our backs against the wall.
"Thank you. I've only recently claimed it." We looked at the years worth of graffiti scrawled on the stairs. Names, secrets, numbers, dates, all made their marks on the stairs.
"How are you?" Andy's eyes were an unbelievable blue, and in the poor light, wrung with smoky black smudge, held me. "I mean it." His low voice rumbled through the air.
I had to look away, swallowing before I tried to answer. I tried to speak, but I made a strangled noise before I nodded. "Liar." He said softly. "Come here." He wrapped an arm around my shoulder, pulling my thin frame to his. My knees pulled up to my chest, he basically draped himself around me. "I'm sorry. He's an asshole." He rubbed my back as I let tears leak down my face, my sniffles were loud.
"I'm going to be okay." I sat up, squirming out from under his arms, leaning my head on his chest.
"Yeah?" I heard his chest rumble with his deep voice.
"Yeah." I said quietly, and he let me sit there like that for the rest of the period.
When the bell rang, we both walked to the cafeteria where Andy would get his lunch before he followed me out to the garden. He had decided to start sitting with us. We had been standing in line, he grabbed his food chatting to me about nothing in particular. I, on the other hand, was watching Austin and Alan at their table.
At first I was curious about what was going on. The closer we got I could understand more of their conversation. For some reason Alan, Austin, Ronnie, Chris, and a few other guys were laughing...oddly, the guys Alan had flipped off and Austin had yelled at were sitting at the table with them. Tino and Phil were looking at them in shock. When we got closer, I finally heard what they were saying.
