Oli's P.O.V.:

I left the bathroom deciding to find Austin first.

It took a while, but I finally found him in the kitchen, with the doors closed, throwing away some blood stained paper towels and the shirt Alan was wearing earlier.

Austin sighed and turned to me. "You could have really hurt him, you know."

"Excuse me?" I was baffled

"You heard me. You're so much taller than him!"

"Yeah, and he has twice the muscle mass as me. Have you forgotten he's varsity running back? He works out on a daily basis? The occasional kicker?"

Austin rolled his eyes, "Yeah we you should see his face."

"Let's take a look at how well Kellin is faring!" I shouted.

"What he said to Kellin was wrong bu-"

"But nothing! He was wrong. That's it. Plain and simple."

"Its not like that-" he started in a patronizing tone.

"Then fucking enlighten me! I'm sick of you saying those things and making excuses! Just be honest with me!"

"You don't understand-"

"Fuck that! Out with it! I've had enough of your bullshit. I'm going to go check on Kellin. You can either help me find him, or not." I said through gritted teeth.

He looked at the ground, "Brendon and Vic took him to Vic's house." He said quietly.

"Oh so that's it then?" I was stunned.

"Maybe we can talk about all this tomorrow when everything's died down." He swallowed still not meeting my eyes.

"You're a real piece of work Austin." I huffed before making my way out of the kitchen and slamming the door, him not making a single effort to follow me.

I had successfully found myself without a ride, on a cool nigh,t in the dark. all alone, walking back to my neighborhood even though I had no idea where I was at.

I had made it just past Alan's yard where all the cars were parked as I trudged to the street.

"Hey there," tall juice pouch guy from earlier appeared next to me.

"Nows not really the time." I said quietly.

"For a ride? I can take you to your house." He gestured to one of the many vehicles.

I sighed and looked at him, "Listen its real-"

"Whoa, were you in that fight?" His perfectly groomed black eyebrows furrowed together and his thin pale hands brushed against my face making me shiver.

"Yeah," I blushed.

"Wow. Pretty brave of you to take on the Alan Ashby." He smirked, sarcasm tainting his voice.

"Yeah, well. Someone had to take him down a notch." I made light of the drama and kicked my toe at the ground.

"So Oli. Want a ride? Its a pretty sweet one, if I do say so myself." His voice was low and joking.

I smiled at his kindness despite my rudeness earlier in the kitchen. "Sure. And sorry about earlier. Tonight hasn't been the best." I let out a breathy laugh that just made me sound like I was choking.

"Its cool. We all have bad nights." He said leading me back to the cluster of vehicles.

"So what's your name?"
