*Lillia's Pov*
Will walked in front of me, leading the way and the girls were behind me. As we walked to the apartment, I suddenly felt extremely nervous; I'm not sure why, but I did. In under a year, I was surrounded by the best group of people that I'd ever met and they'd welcomed me with open arms. I've never celebrated my birthday with this many people before and the realisation they were all here for me made me nervous.
'You got your key?' Will asked as we stopped at the door.
'Oh, uh,' I ruffled around in my bag, trying to find my keys, 'yeah, I do.' It all felt so surreal; it was only my birthday but it felt like it was being built up to be more than it needed to be.
'Happy Birthday,' everybody screamed as I opened the door.
'Fucking hell,' I gasped, 'there are so many people.' I looked around and in the corner, I noticed a familiar brown-haired girl standing next to Mia. 'Fae!' I screamed, running towards her, 'you came.'
'Happy birthday,' Fae wraps her arms around me tightly.
'I thought it was sus that you hadn't texted me yet,' I laughed, pulling away.
'You know I'd never forget. Also, I got you something,' she winked, handing me a card. I opened it up and inside was a baggy.
'You're amazing,' I giggled.
Everybody was here: Will, Mia, Gee, Talia, Freya, Fae, Harry, Cal, Jide, his girl, Vik, Ellie, Simon, Tobi, Ethan, Josh, Lux, Chip, Gib, Theo Baker, Stephen and his girl, Reeve and Megan, despite Megan and I not speaking since new years. I thought it was best that I got the awkward conversation out of the way, so after saying hi to Mia and Fae, I spoke to Megan.
'Happy birthday Lil,' she smiled.
'Oh thanks,' I smiled back awkwardly.
'Uh, I am sorry for New Years, by the way. Katie practically begged us to come,' she gulped.
'It's fine, don't worry,' I hugged her, 'I would have preferred to have been warned but it's all fine.'
'She was so out of line...' she trailed off.
'Fuck sake,' I giggled, 'honestly, it's fine, have a shot.'
I did my rounds and thanked everybody for coming and handed out a few shots as well. The tunes were on, the drinks were flowing and everybody was having a good time.
'Mate, you look so fit,' Fae said slapping my arse.
'Thank you very much,' I giggled.
'Toilet?' she asked, nodding towards the bathroom.
'Yeah,' I replied. Fae and I head towards the bathroom; 'let's just go in here,' I giggled, pulling her into my streaming room.
'So, I have to ask, how's Cal? Is it awkward?' I probed, handing Fae the baggy, a note and a card.
'Urm, not for me. He seems a bit awkward tho,' she shrugged.
'He genuinely didn't mention much to me,' I sat down into my gaming chair, 'Harry said it was mutual though.'
'I mean, yeah it was. It was just the distance and that,' she said rolling up the note, 'I'm bored of Leeds though, I've got nothing to do now that I've finished Uni.'
'Well...' I twirled in the chair, spinning around in a 360, 'stay down here for a bit then.'
'Cal though...' Fae lifted her head up from the table.
