I was listening to this version of Falling by Harry Styles ^ while writing and I think it fits perfectly. I'm a fast reader so I could read it from start to finish without it ending but if you're not, I'll indicate when.

17th November 2019

It was half one in the morning and nearly everybody had left apart from me, Chip, Ethan and obviously Freezy, Lux and Harry. I was going to stay till around 3 to spend some time with Cal, however, Ethan was just about to leave. I was sitting on the sofa next to Harry and Chip. My head was spinning.

'Bye Eth!' I heard Freezy shout as he closed the front door.

'Lil? Do you uh- want any food as well? Lux and I are ordering,' Harry asked. I felt his hand place onto my bare thigh, squeezing it slightly; it sent shivers throughout my body.

'Urmmm,' was all I managed to get out. The shots from earlier must have really hit me hard and all I could focus on was Harry's hand.

'She'll share whatever I have Boggo, cheers though.' Cal walked over sat down onto the sofa next to me.

'Yeah yeah, I'll do that,' I slurred as I dropped my head back behind me.

'Okay, yeah that's fine.' Harry walked off to Lux in the kitchen.

'How are you feeling? You seem pretty fucked,' chuckled Cal.

'Ahaha yes, I'm fine though, don't worry,' I laughed.

'I'm just going to the toilet,' Chip announced. I watched as he stumbled over in the opposite direction.

Cal came and sat down next to me, and leaned in towards me. 'Tell me everything! I have to know,' whispered Cal.

I slowly lifted my head, focusing on his face. 'Isn't it a bit awkward though? Like you're both of our best mates?' I blurted.

'Fuck sake, Lil, you know I couldn't care less, I want to see you both happy and honestly, I haven't seen him smile this much since the breakup. Fucking whisper though yeah, jheez!' he whispered.

'Wait, really?' I perked up. I suddenly became much more aware of my surroundings and started looking around for Harry. He was still in the kitchen so I scooched closer towards Cal. 'Well, I don't know, I was outside and he came out to me and we were just talking about Katie. He proper opened up to me, well, as much as he's capable of,' I laugh, 'I think it seems like more of a friendship though, he did only talk about her.'

'I don't know, Lil, he's barely spoken to us about Katie and Cal and I have known him years,' speculated Cal. As he said that, Chip came back from the toilet, sitting down on the armchair, next to us. Lux and Harry came back over to the group soon after and Harry plopped himself back next to me.

'Hey,' whispered Harry. I turned to face him, my face beaming. Everybody decided to put some on Youtube videos while we waited. I must have fallen asleep on Harry's shoulder as what felt like seconds later, I felt a light tap on my arm.

'Food's here Lil,' Harry whispered.

I slowly sat up, still feeling disorientated. 'Awh shit, them shit Fifa videos must have made me tired. What time is it?' I yawned. I sat up and grabbed myself a slice of pizza, shovelling it into my mouth.

'Like half 2. How're you getting home?' Lux asked.

'Fuck, uh I'll just get an Uber back later. Be fineeeee,' I replied. I stood up and tried to walk over to the kitchen to get myself a glass of water, but I tripped right over the coffee table.
