chapter 1:pain

Time is the most valuable thing someone could spend. Every second of your life matters. All of your actions in this time will add up. Time will go on, and soon you'll forget the old times. The simpler times. Time should be valued. Time had changed me. Time changed the way I thought and the way I act. Time should be handled very carefully. It's crazy to think how much can change in a few years.

The jolt of the train coming to a stop brought me out of my web of thoughts. Oh no. Here we go again, another year of torture from my peers. Even the teachers hate me. Starting to shake, I quickly grab my bags from the rack and make my way out of the train. Trying to disappear in the shadows, I pull my hood up longing for no one to see me. Oh how that was to no avail,

"how was summer slut".

No. Why him. Out of everyone why did it have to be him. My ex boyfriend, the infamous Draco Malfoy. Knowing that if I ignore him it would make matters worse, I swiftly glance up to look him in the eyes. God those eyes, I could get lost in his Icey blue stare for hours on end. Just then I heard a cough which snapped me out of my thoughts, "it was fine" I let out in the coldest tone I could muster.

I could not afford to show these people how much I let their words affect me, so I did what I always did. I put on a brave face until I made it to my dorm. Oh this dorm and I have had a lot of memories. As soon as the door shut a river of tears had flowed out of my eyes as I wearily looked into the bathroom.

I know I shouldn't but the thoughts of the tingling feeling and the warm blood trickling out was too exciting. Quickly grabbing the razor blades I had saved after the last time, I ran it along my ankle. Slow and steady, pushing down as hard as possible. There it was the tinge of pain. I savoured it. As this pain had devoured the emotional torture I am forced to go through daily. 'Just one more cut' I thought to myself, but once I had started I couldn't stop.

Suddenly, I heard the door rattle. Shit. The bathroom was conjoined. Trying to grab my razor blades as fast as possible I had forgotten to clean up the blood. Oh no, in a matter of seconds some one will hurl through that door. Grabbing a piece of toilet paper I tried my best to clean the thick red liquid but alas, it was of to no avail. A tall figure stood peering into the bathroom. Mostly the mess I had made.
"Is this how pathetic we have gotten, y/l/n?"
"What did I make you upset when I called you a slut, because let me to tell you it was the truth" Malfoy. Draco fucking Malfoy. Of course fate made me share a bathroom with him. Tears rolled down my face, the boy I had loved, only had the feeling of strong hatred for me.
"Lost for words y/n"
"G-get out!"
"Have you forgotten this is my bathroom too, oh yes what a fun year this will be"
Words can't even describe how utterly broken I would end up by the end of this year. And it was all because of him. Tom Marvolo Riddle. The heir of Slytherin. The dark lord. Oh how deep my hatred runs for him. I know I will never be able to begin to forgive him. For he caused this never-ending pain, for he ruined my life, for he-
A tinging sensation had interrupted my thoughts,  a swelling pain was building up on my cheek. He slapped me. Draco Malfoy slapped me. He has never slapped me before. I was speechless. How could he do such a thing. I couldn't take it anymore. I screamed. Looking up to meet his eyes I saw a mix of emotions, the initial shock and then a hurricane of anger building up. Then, he grabbed my hair and dragged me into his room. I tried screaming but it didn't work as he had clasped his hand around my mouth.

Tossing my small frame into the corner of the room, he looked at me, a smirk plastered on his face and then shut the door. A loud click was all I could hear. He locked me in and I had to get out.
