Have you ever wondered how nature gets its glow? Who gives it light and color as the seasons come and go?

Glowing figures dodge through the trees, leaves dancing in a plethora of oranges, yellows, and reds, only to find themselves taken aback by the sudden colors and scents of spring.

Who helps all creatures, great and small, to walk, to swim, to fly?

The water ripples just so subtly, accompanied by several more lights gliding past the stream, a reflection of the moon eminent on the water's surface.

Who crafts such tiny details? You might see them if you try. For it's all the work of fairies, but they stay well out of sight.

They dance through the grass, covering fields of green in a warm glow, bold against the darkened hues of dusk. From all parts of their home- from the fields of summer to the crisp leaves of autumn, every fairy, big and small, flew towards one goal.

The Pixie Dust Tree.

And the first time that a baby laughs, a fairy's life takes flight.

On the far side of the ocean, far from the reaches of the fairies of Pixie Hollow, lays the city of London, a quiet and serene place during the night, only ever interrupted by the occasional sound of a car horn or the barking of a dog.

In the heart of London, lived a family, blessed with a newly born child that stared silently in the light of the moon, their eyes looking up at the trees as they danced in the wind, their shadows lingering across the crib.

The baby, in all of its cherubic limbs and rosy cheeks, found joy in the movement of the light, releasing a breathless and beautiful sound.

A laugh.

When the moon comes out to shine her face

The birds are fast asleep

The laugh of the child reverberated against the walls, gliding through the window in a small gust of wind, the golden glow illuminating the trees along the park line, bumping softly into a small white dandelion. The laugh intertwined with the seed,  and couldn't help but jump to the wind, swimming softly through the sky and over the streetlights of London, never to be seen by another human eye.

And the lanterns hang from every post

The fairies leave their keep

Legend so has it that, every so often, when a baby's first laugh finds such a seed, it will take on a mind of its own, making the journey for miles and miles on end, in order to reach the home of the fairies, where they would gather by the tons to celebrate the coming of a new fairy...all gathered by their faerie queen.

Their Pixie Dust Tree.

They join their hands and sing their songs

The fairies of Pixie Hollow made their way towards their tree, a perpetual line of hundreds, chatting excitedly amongst themselves, curious about what this new dandelion could bring to their family. Their wings illuminated in the moonlight creating a beautifully golden line of light, one that seemed to perpetuate and shimmer well into the night.
