It was getting late, the sun was just setting over Pixie Hollow, and yet, despite my perpetual exhaustion from the past couple of days, I still somehow found the energy to fly as I proceeded to make my way over to a certain pixie-dust fairy's house.
Terence and I, since about three or so years ago, decided to have a weekly dinner together, simply to make sure we didn't get lost in our work- or more so in my work as Terence likes to put it.
Flying through the air, I watched as the lights started to dim across the Hollow, many fairies now turning off their lights to sleep until morning. It was nice, being able to fly through the spring fields without the hustle and bustle that more often than not accompanied it. I breathed deeply, taking in the cool breeze that came out around this time of the day, shivering slightly. As you made my way through the path I waved down to some stray fairies that were enjoying the last bit of light, prepping and organizing the day's creations for the upcoming season. It made me excited- to see everything come together for spring, the flowers blooming and the trees blossoming with leaves- it was perfect.
'Someday I'll have to take care of all of this,' I mused, a new type of chill crawling up my spine.
This time, it wasn't caused by the cold.
I grinned to myself, now seeing the little cottage- the small having been built into a tree branch. The balcony landing that surrounded the doorway being intricate and nicely made. I remembered the day I had helped build it, Terence- being the ever-kind gentleman he was- had wanted a nice place for his friends to hang out and relax thus inquired your aid. It had taken quite a bit of time, and waayy too many sticks that had ended up going astray- many of them had gotten stuck in our hair somewhere along the way and it ended with us sitting back to back, halfway passed out.
I laughed to myself, reminiscing about the silly antics we always ended up with whenever we were together. 'But it's always fun when it's with him, (Y/n)' I mused to myself. 'Stop talking to yourself in the third person,'
Landing on the open area that led to his house, I brought my fist to knock at the door, my wings fluttering slightly in anticipation.
Terence opened the door slightly, looking much groggier than usual as he ran his hand through his hair, the strands now mussed and sticking up oddly. He looked up, running his eyes from my feet to my face, visibly relaxing when he realized it was me- I had done the same.
"Haha- Hey, Terence, ready for our weekly dinner?" I greeted smiling, going in to hug the blonde boy- my blonde boy.
Wait, what?
"Hey, (Y/n)" He chuckled, hugging me back, wrapping his arms around my waist. And for a moment, both of us stood there, just a tad too long and hugging just a tad too tight. He buried his face into my neck, sighing slightly into the skin there, 'Obviously, a little more than groggy-' I noted. I pulled him back and looked him over for bumps and bruises- rare in his occupation but not impossible.
"...Everything alright, Terence?" I inquired, a suspecting tone in my voice. He huffed a laugh, running his hands over my upper arms in a soothing manner. I grabbed his hands, halting his movements as his eyes finally seemed to uncloud. I spoke up, "You're getting touchy, Terence. That's something you only do when you're stressed," I cautioned, making him give up his little facade with a huff. "I don't get touchy-" He denied. I gave him an unamused look, 'yes you do. Not that I exactly mind.' I bit my tongue, 'Oh shut up, (Y/n)'.

Romance"You know what they say, faith, love, pixie dust, and all that." He huffed a laugh, returning to his handy work as he cradled a handful of glowing specks in his palms. He stood up from his knees, some of the dust falling away. He turned his head, of...
