Couple of Besties

[I Like Jake]

Riele's POV
We were in my freezing cold basement just laughing and getting to know each other more. Every hour that came the more we learned about each other. I just learned that Mason has a deep side. It was 12 in the morning and everyone started yawning and slowly drifting to sleep.  Jake had offered to drive Mason home.

"Bro you ready to go? Jake looked at Mason as Mason was sleeping peacefully on my couch.

"Huh, what. What did you say? Mason said with the most confused face ever.

I looked at them both and giggled. Jake was finally able to get Mason up and take him home. I just had fallen asleep on the couch in my cold ass basement.

Jake's POV
I was walking with Mason to his door and I had knocked. Jace had opened the door. He and Mason looked "exactly" alike, but that wasn't all Ella had popped up and grabbed Jace waist saying "Babe who is it?" She hadn't noticed me until Mason had waved goodbye to me.

"Omg! Jake how have you been!?" Ella said with complete shock finally realized he was there.

I hadn't said much to her because I really didn't like her. But it was kinda nice seeing her happy "just kinda."

Mason and I exchanged numbers then I dipped. I reached Riele's house and used her spare key under the doorbell to get in.  I went in the basement and saw really Riele totally knocked out on the couch.  I picked her up and took her to her room and laid her on her bed. As I was about to walk out she pulled my shirt.

"Please stay." Riele said with her baggy eyelids under her eyes

And I stay she looked at me and we completely locked eyes. I wanted to ask her about Ella but I didn't wanna ruin the moment. We were stuck like that for a minute or so until I made a move. She kissed me back.  And we fell asleep together on her bed.

Next Morning

Riele's POV
I remembered Jake and I's kiss last night and last night is also when I realized that all those weird feelings I was having about love was not for Mason or Jace it was all for Jake. I knew if I told Mason he'd be heartbroken because I never really told the reason why I pulled back for kissing him. Jake had left my room early, so I hadn't got the chance to see him. My mom had left early again this morning, she has been leaving early every morning now. I have been really worried about her lately. But my mom is strong she wouldn't want me to worry about her u unless there was a reason to.

I went looking for Jake and found him in the basement watching TV.  He was shirtless and had rock hard abs. I covered my face just to be polite, I really didn't want to thought to be honest.

"Oh sorry. Do you want me to put on a shirt? Jake had said with the most cutest smile ever.

"Tbh? No.. I said with a very shy smile and Jake had laughed a little and sat back down.

I walked and sat next to him and he kissed me and I looked at him.

"Is this gonna become a thing? I said hoping and wishing for him to say yes.

"Only if you want it to be.." Jake said smiling holding my waist.

And I kissed him again and smiled. So I guess this is a way of us announcing that we're dating.
