Chapter 2- First day

I woke up and everyone was still asleep I'm guessing I woke up a little too early. I decided to just get ready since I'm already up. I first checked the time and OMG! It's only 4:06.

I groaned into my pillow just imagining how early it is, so I just went back to sleep for a little nap.

"Y/n c'mon get up you missed breakfast!" Violet said shaking me. "Oh shit I slept it" I said.

I quickly got up and got ready. Thank god I have great friends I swear, I love them. They waited for me outside of our room as I changed.

I finally got ready and headed out the door. Today was Monday, so I had DADA first. I have that class with Tamsin, Violet, and Florence so I'm fine.

The three of us then walked to our class. When we got there Tamsin was already there. Violet took a seat next to Tamsin, and me and Florence sat next to each other. I also saw Tom along with Bellatrix, Maxence, and Abraxas. All seated near Tom. The 4 assholes. As everyone in the class settled down the teacher started.

"Not so fast everyone." The professor said. "Don't get too comfortable in your sets now, this year we will be having assigned seats!" They said. "Everyone please get to the side of the classroom, I'll be calling out the students that'll be paired for the year, so please pay close attention." They said.

"Ms. Floyd and Mr. Black,
  Mr. Milestrautle and Ms. Lestrange,
  Mr. Malfoy and Ms. Parkinson....." the professor then carried on with the next students then....

"Lastly, Ms. Waldorf and Mr. Riddle." They said with a smile. There was a moment of silence.

We just stared at each other, then the professor snapped us back to reality "Hello Yoo-hoo let's get settled in now shall we."

When Tom and I sat down next to each other I could already feel my face getting heated by being this close to him. Seriously Y/n get it together.

We started the lesson, and teacher was giving us the lecture telling us to take notes. While I was writing I felt just the slightest brush of skin from Tom making my whole body get filled with shivers and goosebumps.

He looked and me for a sec but I immediately looked away. I don't know why I was this nervous around him. I'm normally shooting glares towards him. SHUSBWLSHRQN Y/N SERIOUSLY. Okay, okay. I'll get my act together..... next class.

The class finally finished and I got and quickly grabbed my things to head to my next class. My next class was Potions and I didn't have that class with any of my friends so I was lonely.

I arrived to the class everyone was already seated. I was the last student to enter, so everyone stared at me as I got in. "Ahhhh Ms. Waldorf one of top students! Please take a seat." Professor Slughorn said.

I looked around and notice that all the seats were taken. Expect for one particular desk. The desk that had Tom seated on it. Oh jeez. Why am I always making encounters with him!

I took a seat next to him and he sent me a glare, so I sent him one back and rolled my eyes.

"This year the seats that you are in will be the seat that you'll be staying in for the rest of the year, the person next to you will also be you partner/buddie for this class, so better get used to them now." He said.

The class went on and he just kept giving us or first day back lecture. "Our first assignment for the year will be a group project. Everyone will paired into two with their seat partner, therefore the person your sitting next to will be your partner!" said Slughorn in an exciting manner.
