Chapter 3- The party

I woke up and immediately checked the time. 6:38am not too bad aye. I got up and got ready.
Today was the day of the party I was pretty scared. I've never been to a party. I was always ever just with Tamsin, Violet, or Florence.

I finished getting ready and waited for the three to finish getting ready. I stayed in the common room as I waited. I was getting bored so I decided to write in my journal. I wanted to make a pros and cons list of Tom to see if I like him or not. I've never had a crush or dated anyone. Ever.

My mom always told me that boys were a distraction, that I had better things in life than just to devote myself to a "worthless boy" she says. She still allows my siblings and I to date, but I was the only one that didn't take advantage of that privilege.

I first wrote down some pro's. He's smart, very charming, hard working, persuasive, and... uhm yeah that's all I got right now. Okayyy time for the con's. He's mean, my enemy, a bully, everyone In school fears him, and-
My writing then got interrupted by someone aggressively sitting on the couch in front of me.

I check who it is and ahhh yes. Tom Riddle. Wait. SHIT IM WRITING ABOUT HIM RIGHT NOW. Omg I'm so pathetic. I changed the page and gave out a little sigh.

I look over at him to see what he's doing, and he was writing In this green book which I'm guessing is his diary. Or I don't know HAHA.

I was still staring and he looked up at me and he immediately closed his book which startled me.

We were just looking at each other now. I decided to break the silence and ask him "Hey uhm as much as I hate to ask this but... you want to work on the project for slug horns everyday after school?" I asked with my back straight and legs crossed. "I guess, would you like to start today?" He said.

"Oh um I'm busy today there's this slytherin party today." I said lowly. I wonder if he's going.

"oh yeah I completely forgot about that. Your sisters hosting it right?" He responded. "Yeah, I hope to see you there I have to go look for my friends now we normally eat breakfast together if you haven't noticed throughout the years." I said with a light chuckle and waved goodbye. He gave me a small grin. BSBAKJDOWBDU

I got up and walked out the common room with my journal. I decided to just wait for the three at the table in the great hall.

"BOO! Bet you got scared didn't you." Violet said with Tamsin and Florence walking over to me. "Phcvsg no." I said trying not to look like she scared me.

"Well here's a little apology gift for getting too high yesterday we know how much you hate it when we do those kinds of stuff in front of you." Tamsin said handing me a card and plate of brownies.

"These aren't tampered with. Right?" I said unsure. "NOOOO no no no of course not Y/n." Florence said with a little laugh. "Open the card!" She added excitedly.

I opened the card and it was a pop up card. A heart popped out when I opened it, and I read aloud the little message.

" WE LOVE YOU Y/N WE PROMISE NOT TO ALWAYS GET HIGH AROUND YOU BECAUSE WE KNOW HOW MUCH YOU HATE IT. Love, the three literal crackheads." I read.

"Awwwwe you guys didn't need to do this haha it's funny when you guys are high around me, as random as this was I still greatly appreciate it!" I said with a smile hugging them. "Is this why you guys took so long to get "ready" this morning?" I asked with a chuckle. "Yeahhh." Violet responded.

We broke the hug and started eating. As I was eating I saw Blair's minions walk over to me with their arms crossed.

"Blair needs to talk to you." the girl in the middle said with attitude I think her name was Penelope? "Mind the attitude" Violet said giving Penelope a death stare. Actually when I looked over at Tamsin and Florence they were all giving them death glares. Haha
