JAMES HAD CAME UP WITH DIFFERENT ways to get over Noel and his little crush that had been lasting for about years. He knew that there was no way of getting over Noel quickly so he dismissed his original plan and made up a new one. He called it the 'Plan you go to without trying Plan A'. So he pulled one of the girls in his second class of the day.
"Gina? Is it?" James asked
"Actually it's Din-"
"It's whatever, anyways wanna be my date to the Yule Ball?" James said at a quick pace seeming like he had places to go. Dina was silent then started bursting out laughing.
"James you're funny you know that?"
"What do you mean?" James asked
"Why don't you just ask Noel, you know? The girl you originally asked" Dina stated
"Technically she's saying I have to try harder than what I did, so I thought to just ask someone else to get her to me" James bluntly said.
"So you decided to drag me in?"
"Well, that's not what I me-"
"I'm just joking— anyway I mean she's not wrong I've seen the way you asked her"
"What's that supposed to mean?" James pretended to wipe a tear
"James?- look around you, especially look at the boys who do the most, because you, clearly haven't taken any notes at all, where are your flowers, teddy bear, and chocolates?" James didn't reply. "Exactly, now go do your studying and update me on your original mission" Dina walked away but turned again. "Maybe your fellow marauders can help you on that" With that she walked away to class.
Later on that day James stayed up all night thinking of ways he could ask Noel.
