EVER SINCE NOEL READ THE POEM she had been more observant than before. Yet she still didn't know it was. At the same time, she also remembered she had to do her poem; which she thought was quite embarrassing. But when she came into the Great Hall she noticed all how there were only a few students.
"What's happening?" Noel asked a random Gryffindor
"Professor McGonagall is gonna teach us how to dance for the Christmas Yule Ball" The student replied.
"But didn't Christmas already pass?"
"Yeah but she and the other professors thought it'd be a good idea since we didn't do anything altogether for Christmas"
"Now the other professors and I have come to an agreement that we will be hosting a late Christmas Yule Ball-" groans echoed through the halls. "Now, now, I don't want our house to be disrespected in any way so I will be teaching all of you how to dance" Across the room, she saw the Marauders all smiling at her; she smiled back and made her way to them.
"Mr. Pettigrew, please come forward" Noel covered her mouth to prevent herself from laughing when McGonagall called the shy boy. "Okay, now you may put your hand on my waist" The marauders started cackling.
"On your where?"
"My waist" Mcgonagall's gaze went behind Peter to the Marauders making them immediately stop laughing. After Peter and McGonagall demonstrated how to ball dance with McGonagall scolding whenever Peter messed up a step. McGonagall turned to all of her students "Okay now everyone pair up and start practicing what I thought you " James turned to Noel but Sirius jokingly invited Noel to dance. Noel going along she agreed. Remus only started chuckling finding a partner. The rest was Sirius and Noel being the dramatic pair they are as James scowled at the sight.
Noel's laugh died down "oh James we're only joking" while Remus, Sirius, and Noel found it funny how James gets easily jealous the curly head boy's face stayed straight. Later on in the class, Noel decided to leave Sirius so he could dance with Remus. And James finally took it upon himself and asked Noel for a dance to which she accepted his hand.
