"Mother can Claire, Paige, and Kat come over?" I told my mom hoping she would say yes. She didn't answer but just looked at her computer screen, like always. I waited a few seconds for her to answer...nothing. I sighed and repeated myself with a frustrated tone. After a few seconds she looked up from her screen and replied with,"What?" I held in my frustrated sigh because this is not the first time at all that this has happened. I repeated myself one more time before I lost my patience. She thought for a bit and said,
"I guess but when?" My heart jumped when she said they could come and I honestly don't know why because I hang out with them like every week.
"Now?" I asked. She replied with the same answer as always,
"I guess."

"Ayee Matrix, Pyther, Splice," I greeted my best friends/sisters.
Matrix is Claire, Pyther is Paige, and Splice is Kat. Nobody but each other and Tommy know our code names. Tommy is the person who turned us into what we are. When we were only small children, Tommy somehow gave us powers that are only in movies. He told us we were meant to have them and that nobody could know...not even our parents.

Matrix had some strong damn mind powers. She can read minds... which sucks because lets just say i have really weird thoughts. She can also move things with her mind. Matrix is the second oldest and her mind reading can really come in handy because she's able to think ahead of people. She's also the best fighter.
Pyther sounds harsh but she's actually the nicest out of us. She can charm people just like that, but thats not her power. Pyther has super senses, including a 6th sense. She has super hearing, sight, smell, touch, and taste. Her sixth sense can sense when something's wrong she can just feel it.
Kat here is something different. Her name is literally her. She hisses and always somehow lands on her feet. Like all the time! She has an amazing balance and can flip like gravity has no effect on her! She loves to shape her nails into claws and scratch things. She can slice a piece of meat with them!How do you think she got her nickname? She can be harsh but it doesn't stop people from loving her. She can teleport. It takes a lot of mind power to teleport more than one person but she can do it. Its scary but its amazing do u know how much clothes I have gotten for free.
Me? My real name is Jayce. My other name is Jinx. Im the youngest and I feel like I always need to do something. Like climb a mountain or run around for fun. Im a shape shifter, as in I can turn into any animal I want too at any time. Whatever animal I turn into I gain its power but I keep the same mind. Im the spy of the group I can get any information you need me too. Its not that hard to get into someones house when your a fly just gotta make sure nobody tries to squash you, you know? Jinx, Pyther, Matrix, and Splice. Thats our squad.
