Chapter 31: I Don't Want To See You Anymore.

***Miranda's P.O.V.***

I woke up with the sun all up in my eyes. I sat up and realized that I stayed the night in the hospital with Jai. Jai then woke up. "Good morning." He yawned out. I smiled. "Morning. I didn't mean to stay here last night. I just feel asleep. I'm sorry." He sat up carefully, so that he doesn't hurt his ribs, or his broken arm. "I told you to go to sleep. I didn't want you to leave anyways." Jai said. I blushed. "Well.. I'm gonna go home and get refreshed. I'll be back in an hour." I said as I climbed out of bed. "Okay. I'll see you later." Jai said as he layed back down carefully. I then started to walk home. When I got home, I showered, put my hair in a messy bun, and got dressed into swear pants, and a t-shirt. I didn't bother to do my make-up. I grabbed some magazines, a couple of Jai's favorite games and my laptop, so we can watch movies. I walked in to see him asleep. I just smiled. He's so cute when he's asleep. I sat all of the stuff down and woke Jai up carefully. "Jai." I whispered. "Wake up." His beautiful eyes opened tiredly. When he layed his eyes on me, he smiled. "Hey you." I smiled. "Do you want me to come back later? You seem really tired." He shook his head no. "No, stay. It was just a rough night because my ribs were hurting me last night." He said. I sat next to him. "Well... I bought some of your favorite games, some magazines, and my laptop so we can watch movies." I said as I pointed to the stuff. "You're really gonna hang out with me all day?" Jai asked surprised. "Of course I am. Why wouldn't I?" I asked. Jai kinda shifted awkwardly. "Well.. we aren't together.." Jai looked away. "Just because we aren't together doesn't mean we can't hang out as friends." I said. Jai didn't look at me. "Miranda... I told you that I-" I interrupted him. "We'll talk about it later.. okay?" I said. Jai just sighed and nodded. I looked away awkwardly. "Can we play uno?" Jai asked like a kid. I chuckled and nodded. We played 7 rounds of uno. Jai won 4 times, and I won 3 times. "Lets watch 50 First Dates now!" Jai yelled like a little kid. I nodded and got my laptop ready. I sat on the bed and waited for the movie to start. "You can lay down if you want." Jai said as he scooted over. I shook my head no. "It's fine. You need to be comfortable cause you're hurt." I said smiling. Jai frowned. "Miranda, I don't mind you laying down. We just 2 friends... laying down in a hospital bed watching a movie." He wasn't wrong. I mean.. that is what we're doing. I sighed and layed next to him. I didn't realize that you he had his arm out when I layed down. We were basically cuddling. I ignored the fact that we were cuddling and watched the movie. After watching about 30 minutes of the movie, Jai paused the movie and yelled,"I can't resist anymore!" He the turned my face towards him and kissed me. At first I was shocked... I then started to kiss back for about 4 seconds, then pulled away. "Jai! Why did you do that?" I asked confused. "Miranda.. I can't just be friends with you. When I first ran into you... I instantly felt a connection with you. I'm deeply in love with you. Just the thought of just being friends with you breaks my heart. I just.... I just can't be friends with you. I'm too in love with you to just be friends Miranda.." Jai said. I sighed and looked away. "Jai.. I told you.. I need time.. I'm just... I'm just not looking for a relationship right now. I do still love you.. I really do.. but we should stay friends for a while." He sighed sadly.. "Then... then I don't want to see you anymore." Jai said looking away. That broke my heart. "Wh-what?" I said not believing what I heard. "I need to be more than friends with you... not just friends. How can a guy just be friends with the girl that he's deeply in love with?" Jai said with tears in his eyes. "Jai... I'm sorry." I said as I felt tears in my eyes. "Me too..." He mumbled. I sighed and gather my stuff. Before I walked out the door, I took one last glance at Jai. He wouldn't look at me.. I sighed and walked out... As his door closed, all of my tears ran down my face.

***Jai's P.O.V.***

When Miranda walked out the door.. I burst into tears.. I can't believe I said that.. I still wanted to see her... I just let my feelings get to me.... Beings just friends with her is better than being strangers with her.. I should've never said that... All of our good times together were running through my head... I missed all of those times... I can't believe the girl that I'm in love with is now a stranger to me.... I then cried myself into a deep sleep.
