"Where are you, you little curse of a child.."

Victoria peered her head around the corner of the living room wall, and quickly tip-toed up the stairs, quickly making a run for my bedroom. She peered back slightly and didn't see anything, and sped her way through the hall feeling the creaking under her small feet, she made it to her bedroom door and quickly shut the door. Letting out a sigh of relief, turning back over to her room she looked up and saw her brother towering over her.

"Oh crap....." Victoria whispered

"Now listen here you little disgrace, you i don't like. And what do I do with people I don't like?" he said

Victoria looked up at him nervously knowing what he was going to say next.

"I punch them to a pulp." he sneered

As she furrowed her eyebrows remembering the awful memory of that particular day she shook her head brushing it off. She finished brushing her teeth, as she did she heard her mom and brother arguing downstairs, she rolled her eyes at this, it was annoying more than anything. Victoria walked out the bathroom and down the stairs, and walked over to the kitchen and past both of them, ignoring their argument as she opened the fridge looking for the pomegranate juice.

"WELL MAYBE IF YOU WERE NOT A LAZY HAG YOU WOULD STILL HAVE DAD AROUND!" Damien hollered

"DON'T TALK TO ME LIKE THAT DAMIEN." Her mom hollered back

Damien, Victorias older step brother has always been a little bastard to his mom ever since he blames her mother for his dad leaving and dumping him there with them. And not taking Damien along with him. Yet again, did not really give him the reason to be a little bastard to his step-mother.

The house bell rung, victoria slipped past Damien and her moms bickering and went over to the main door, opening it and looking out, seeing a huge stack of letters.
She bent down and picked the pile of letters up, she looked through the letters closing the door with her foot as she looked through them, all she saw as if now was overdue taxes, overdue taxes, and more overdue taxes, as she walked into the kitchen once again she sat on the table and kept looking, a letter was addressed to her. She furrowed her eyebrows a bit confused as she never got mail of any sort, let alone a letter with a huge H red stamp on it, she opened it and saw three letters in the envelope as she opened one out of the three.

She started reading the first one out of the three.
'Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry, Victoria S. Lilac, 7 street. Dear Miss Lilac, we are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of  all necessary books and equipment. Term begins on 1 September. We will wait for your owl by no later than 31 July. Yours sincerely, Minerva Mcgonagall....'

What in the world is this? She thought to herself as victoria read it over again thinking it could be some sort of hoax.

"Uh hey mum..? Was' this?" Victoria asked looking up from the letter and over at her mom.

Victorias mom snapped her neck over to her daughter still heated while arguing with Damien.

"What do you want now?" Her mom snapped at her

Victoria handed her the letter over to her mom as she snatched it out of her hands and put on her oversized square glasses on and scanned the letter over.

"Am a witch?" Victoria asked raising an eyebrow

"Well yes, I guess your grandma signed you up at that so called Hogwarts school since I did not want you there and or part of that crazy witchcraft bullcrap." Victorias mom said waving her hand dismissivly.

"Huh... wait, so you are a witch?"  Damien asked lookiing over at his step-mom

"Are you?" Victoria asked now looking over at her mom too

"No actually it skipped me, but once victoria was born, we knew you were a witch. Well your grandma immediately knew. Somehow." Victorias mom said shrugging, victoria was confused and processing what was going on.
Victoria blankly stared at her mom, as Damien was looking at victoria with a disgusted expression.

"Thank the gods i am not a kid of yours, and that am dads side." Damien said eyeing victoria still with a disgusted look like she was a walking parasite or something.

"Well am I going... or..?" Victoria asked as she looked back over to her mom after scowling at her brother

"Can we get rid of her? It will be less of a gain on your lazy arse since u are an unemployed hag." Damien reasoned with his mom

Victoria looked at damnien as she was getting more annoyed by his snarky attitude.

"Well you do have a point... yeah okay you are going." Victorias mom said tapping her chin as she looked back over at her

"Okay... I'll send my owl...?" Victoria said a bit hesitantly as she looked at the other two letters
