Chapter 3

Hinata POV

I noticed the team staring at us weird. Probably cause I was lecturing this idiot, Kageyama. I huffed and stopped talking and he just sighed in relief. I laughed to myself.

How can such a scary guy be so adorable?

Then I vigorously shook my head. Why the heck did I just think Bakayama is adorable???

I stopped and noticed I was strangely dizzy. Losing my balance, I wobbled backwards. I caught myself right before I fell. Suga walked up to me. "Hinata are you feeling alright?" he asked with worry evident in his eyes. 

"Yes. I'm fine Suga-senpai. I just lost my balance."I chuckled.

"Ah. Sorry for worrying too much" He smiled and went to talk with Daichi. I swear those two are married.

Kageyama POV

Hinata wobbled backwards and I almost ran to catch him before he hit his head again but he caught himself just in time. Suga rushed over to ask if Hinata was okay and when Hinata said yes, Suga walked back over to Daichi.

I really hope he's okay. Hinata never just looses balance like that. I had been serving the ball up in the air when Hinata ran over asking me to serve for him. I dropped the ball on my nose and heard that damn Tsukishima laughing at me like the annoying salt shaker he is. I was saved from having to say no when the bell rang. 

Time Skip

School was finally over. Our poor, pitiful brains were spared when our teachers didn't assign any math or english homework.

"Oh, Kageyama-"Hinata started. We started walking home together once we actually were able to put up with each other.

"Hmm?"I hummed while I drank my milk.

"I'm going to be absent for a day or two next week because I have a dentist appointment."I was about to object when I noticed him start wincing and becoming super tense. I sighed and without thinking I did the worst thing possible. The one thing I should NOT have done under any circumstances.

I pat his head.

Immediately once I did it I regretted it. Until this tangerine, this cute, adorable, little tangerine sunshine, nuzzled into my hand. We stopped walking and just kind of stayed there for a little bit. We had reached the bridge and I noticed that the cherry blossoms were beginning to bloom. I looked back to Hinata and began playing with his hair. AND YOU KNOW WHAT THIS SMOL BEAN DID?!?!?! HE PURRED LIKE A CAT. My face began to flush red and I covered it with my other hand.

"Kageyama?" Hinata asked innocently.

I turned to him and did my best to stare him straight in the eye.

"Your tsundere is showing."

I hope you liked this chapter. I decided to go for pure and absolute fluff today.

 I want to make this story a little longer than my A Thousand Years one but I don't really know how since I don't have any background stuff I can add in.
