{3} Found and Goodbye

We were all out searching for Norman. Everyone was scattered around looking for the specific albino that Don decided to challenge twice. I walked down the path that I was on when it was Norman seeking. I remembered that one thing that caught my eye. The dahlia flower. I saw the flower where I left it. A small open space between the trees. Though I was met with a small surprise. Two common butterflies dancing with each other in the air.

I got slightly closer and the butterflies unmoving from the small area above the dahlia. I picked the dahlia from its spot. The butterflies followed the dahlia a bit but then danced a bit around me. "Butterflies are attracted to dead skin cells if I recall....I bath everyday so I don't suspect I have much..." I looked aimlessly at the two dancing insects. They then started fly away but still in eyesight. For whatever reason I followed the two insects.

I'm not even interested much in bugs or any insects but I guess my aloof side popped up and I followed close behind the butterflies just like how Norman followed close behind me during the first round of tag.

Still following close behind I realize I was getting near the fence but I saw a mop of snow string hair. I stared at the boy who was just staring at the very low fence. He seemed unknowing to my presence. I got closer to him till I was next to him.

Even though I was next to him he still didn't acknowledge my presence. 'Wow... he must really be deep in though for not realizing me yet...' I thought. I lifted my free hand and poked Norman's cheek.

"Hm?" Norman looked so dazed at that moment. We stared at each other just like in the last round. I gave him a soft smile as did he.

"I caught you..."

"You caught me...."

We were quiet, no words were exchanged but we stared happily. I pulled my hand that was poking his cheek still not breaking gaze. Norman decided to break the eye link though and looked down. His eyes focused on the item that was in my hand. "Ah...that flower...you never got to tell me what it was.". I brought the flower closer to our faces. "It's called a dahlia. They come in different shapes and is usually pink, yellow, red, and purple. It symbolizes elegance, inner strength, change, creativity, and dignity" Norman let out a soft chuckle. "Seems like a good flower to give to an artist of some sort. Anyways...How did you even find me? Certainly many of us wouldn't come close to here" "well...I followed a pair of butterflies..."

I looked away out of embarrassment. 'Why did I tell him I followed butterflies?!? Stupid! Stupid!! Stupid!' I internally smacked myself.  "Pfft- HahAhHaHAHA!" I looked at my albino friend who was laughing. "Okay! Okay! You can stop laughing!" He just kept on laughing. "Haah! I'm sorry! It's just- You really found me? Cause you were being a bit of an airhead and were following butterflies?! Haha!"

I stared blankly at the male I was next to. "I know it's childish but...for some reason I just felt drawn to the butterflies" "was there something special about them? Like a marking?" "No...nothing special about them at all, just a simple pair of common butterflies but....it was like they were connected, cause they danced around the dahlia together and they followed one another and lead me to you..." "that's strange but it's a nice little experience as well" he said as he patted my head.

I then felt a pair of arms wrap around me. "Y/N if you caught Norman! Why didn't you say any...thing...." Emma realized where we were and let me out of her grasp. We all stared at the fence. "'You can't go near there, no matter what.'" Emma retold what mom told us. "Yeah, Mom is always telling us that the gate and the fence deep in the forest are dangerous" Norman specified. "But don't you think it's a lie? Cause the fence is really low, it goes up to our waist and if there was anything dangerous, especially for children they would need a higher fence." I stated. "Cause it's obviously a lie" a monotones voice came in. We looked at the direction the voice came from and to no surprise it was Ray.
