After we finished our examination we headed to bed.The next day came around. Free time.
Ray was reading under the tree as usual. Emma ran around with a ball that she threw. As she followed after it into the forest. I quickly ran after her and then Ray got up and walked to the meeting spot.
All four of us met up in a small clearing in the forest that surrounds the house. "So did you girls find anything?" Norman asked. "We found the tracker behind the left ear." Emma said as she pointed to her left ear. "I checked all the other one year olds. And they all had a small bump behind their left ear though they are already starting to fade since they are older than Carol." I explained my examination.
"Yeah, in the spot it's in, no one would notice this." Ray said. The two boys had brought their left hands up to their respective ears, feeling for the tracker. "I never knew about A mark from when they took our blood and it's something that disappear so quickly?" The white haired boy said. "Yeah. I didn't even Suspected at all this whole time. I'm sorry" Emma said as she brought the ball up to her face. "No, You did we-" "No! It's alright Emma! With all that is going on it wouldn't have crossed your mind especially with that event you and Norman witnessed! So please! Don't apologize cause we now know where it is!" I cut off Norman as I wrapped my arms around Emma's neck hugging her from the side.
"E-ehem! And since we now know the location, shape, and size of the tracking device. We can move on to the next step" Norman paused. "After locating it..." Emma paused. We all brought a hand up in a pointing gesture. "How to break it" we said in unison.
"What do we do? If we cut it open to inspect it..." "if Momma combs through our hair..." "she'll definitely see it" Norman and Emma said the sentence together. "Yeah. Well putting aside to see if we can break it easily or not, The tracking device implanted in us isn't that functionally useful" Ray said. "Huh?! They aren't?!?!" Emma popped. "Ah what he means is that because the signal can't specify the individual. Unless everyone but some are gone. Say everyone was in the dining room but you and Norman were running in the forest next to each other. Mom would clearly know that it was you two. Also to specify a tracker per kid like putting their name and age would just not be reasonable since it would possibly not function well." I explained to the ginger.
"If we get close to the gate or wall it doesn't notify her." "But it's still implanted" " yeah and why? They must be confident they can come after us as long as the tracking device is intact" Ray brought up his theory. " wait does that mean if it does notify them, it'd be when the tracking device is destroyed?" Norman asks. "That'd be a possibility too" Ray answered. "Meaning?..." "They will be notified only its broken like with an alarm or something" Ray informed Emma. "So if we destroyed it Mom would know immediately?" "Well if the notification function even exists"
"But thinking that Mom purposely let us know about the existence of the tracking device, we can't dismiss it so easily" I put my hand to my chin as I pondered while the ravenette answered the ginger's questions and the silver head boy talked. "But even so, it wouldn't matter if we took out the tracker intact and Momma doesn't comb our hair, The problem would be that the moment we take it out we would want to test it and see what it's about immediately and if the notification function does exist, it could destroy our whole plan...." I said to the rest. "Exactly. It's risky to mess with it and break it" Ray agreed with me.
"So we can only destroy it when we escape" Norman concluded. "EEEH?!! Then how will we figure out how to break it!?" Emma yelled. "Well, for that, this shape and size brings something to mind. Can you leave this issue to me?" "Are you sure?" Norman asked. "Yeah" Ray said plainly. "If you're saying so, then I'll leave it to you." Emma said.
