Cold.

Dark.

Closed off.

Emotionless.

These are just a few words used to describe the Ice Prince of Gotham.

Damian Wayne.

He seemed to be a brat, spoiled, uncaring, cold, and well you know the rest.
That was what people thought.

In truth Damian cared for animals, cared for his family. He just chooses not to show.

As years past he tries to grow out of his shell.

The people of Gotham now wonders is there anyone who could melt the Ice in this young man's heart.

On a winter day he was just walking around the streets of Gotham to go to an Art store.
He needed to stock up on supplice.
You may ask why not just ask Alfred? Well he didn't want to bother him. Afterall he has much on his plate already. Since Dick and Jason managed to crash the chandelier and had set the kitchen on fire once again.

Normal? Yes those were very normal for the Wayne Family.

When he was nearing the Art store he saw a woman that looked absolutely breathtaking amidst the ice and snow.

She was staring up the the sky just feeling the cold.

Damian continued his journey to the art store but saw that the clerk was on lunch so the store was closed.

"Are you here to get some supplies aswell?" The woman asked Damian.

"Yes but I suppose I'd have to wait." Damian replied. The Ice Prince wasn't known for conversation but this woman just made him reply willingly. In his defense though it would be rude not to reply to a question.

"That's true, I've been waiting too." She said.

"Out here in the cold?" Damian asked.

"The cold is nice. I can sense that you've been used to it aswell?" She said as she looked towards him.

Damian looked at her features. She looked like an angel in the snow.

"I- yes," he also muttured something about being dubbed the Ice Prince of Gotham for his personality. He thought she didn't hear but she did.

She looked into his forest green eyes.
"I don't think everyone calls you an Ice Prince. I think that you act the way you do because well, you don't want to be bothered and mind your own bussiness. Not everyone respects privacy now a days. I should know. I even left my home due to former acquaintences lacking respect. You've gone through a rough path at a young age but still you are progressing from that and are striving to be better. I do believe under that Ice cold exterior you have a kind pure heart. You care but it seems hard for you to show it since you are not quite used to it. There are also a select few that you care for but you do care for your city aswell. I don't think you're an Ice Prince you just want to know who is real and who is not, who your friends are and who are there for you." She says honesty shining through her bluebell eyes.

"H-how did you?" Damian said seemingly surprise that she solved him easily.

"The eyes are the window to the soul is it not?" She replied.

Damian didn't know why or how this bluebell-eyed angel would describe him like that. He had this urge to get to know her better if their paths were ever to cross again and he prayed it would.

The art store opened and the clerk welcomed the two.

The woman went to the sketchbook isle.
Damian just collected the things he needed, from paints to pencils, canvases to sketchbooks.

He saw her leaving the shop. She looked back and waved at him with a smile.

The clerk was certain that the Ice Prince would ignore the stranger but the Damian Wayne, the Ice Prince actually waved back.

With the wave goodbye, Damian did hope that his silent prayer would work.

The next day Damian went to a cafe nearby to grab a little snack as he was heading to the park. Yes it was cold but he wanted to go out and sketch for a bit.

He hadn't forgotten the mysterious woman yesterday. He actually had a sketch of her. When he had gotten home yesterday he went to his art room and was sketching mindlessly but after he finished he saw a sketch of when the woman was just standing with a few details of the Ice and Snow around her.

The cafe was quiet full,  he was originally going to eat there but changed his mind. That is until he saw the exact same dark as night hair. He thought he was hallucinating or imagining it, that is until the woman looked up.

She had felt eyes on her and when she looked up she smiled recignizing the man at the art shop yesterday.

She waved at him. He walked to her table and greeted her.

"Didn't expect to see you again Miss-" Damian said.

"Marinette, and I aswell hadn't expected to be upon your presence Mr. Ice Prince." She lightly teased.

"Mind if I sit here? That is unless you are awaiting company?" He asked he didn't want to intrude but he wanted and felt the need to get to know her better.

"Not at all. I quite find the mystery you hold intruiging." Marinette said her bluebell eyes shinning with curiousity.

The two conversed and got to know each other.

The other patrons in the cafe that knew of the Ice Prince's reputation were wondering could this girl thaw the Ice Prince's cold hard-as-ice heart?
