XXVIII: DISTRESS

Mari can in one word be described as determined but sometimes or in this case especially she is stubborn.
She may have gotten that trait from her Dad. No not Tom Dupain but rather Clark Kent.

Before we dive into Marinette's life let's get to know how her biological parents met.

Sabine was on a trip to Metropolis to visit a friend. Little did she know that this friend had set her up with another friend of hers.
Fast forward a little Sabine went into a club along with her friend then Clark Kent entered the scene. Their friend introduced them to one another, friend leaves because of some emergency. Clark and Sabine got drunk and you know what happens.... (they go into a magic land and wished for a baby!)

The next morning Sabine wakes up and realizes what they've done and that they didn't use Protection... oops.

She fled and just texted her friend that she was going to continue on her journey to travel.

She next went to Paris where she met Tom Dupain. Tom accepted Sabine and cared for her, he became her best friend that with time became more than friends. When Tom found out that Sabine was prego he was confused since they haven't done 'it' and asked Sabine, Sabine told him and well she expected that he'd leave her but no he decided to raise Mari as his own.

A few months later a beautiful baby girl was born. Marinette Dupain-Cheng.

She seemed normal....

They started their bakery and lived with peace and joy. The Family of three was more than happy with their life.

Tom loved Mari as if she was his own, even spoiled the little girl with treats.

Mari grew up with many friends, people adored the kind and selfless child.
As she grew up she matured and turned into an amazing young woman.

When she entered her the age of thirteen, she had just entered high school. Ah High School, the age of drama....

Mari was running late, on the first day nonetheless, and while crossing the street, she saved an old man in a Hawaiian shirt. She made a new friend, she was being belittled by Chloe, the Mayor's spoiled brat daughter, by the end of the day she made her first crush... Adrien Agreste.
By then she found a small box, there she met Tikki. She became a hero Ladybug, alongside Chat Noir.

She did her duties as a daughter, student, friend and of course a hero.

But... what if things become too much for a teenager to handle?

3 years of battling Hawkmoth, a new girl came. She was named LIELA- er sorry Lila Rossi. She lied with every breath she took. Mari being smart and not blind girl saw through her and tried to bring light to the truth, both as herself and Ladybug. That didn't work out so much as Mari's friends turned on her,
Adrien told her to take the high road, she of course thought he was right but when her former friends bullied her more than Chloe did it didn't seem too good.

With school being hell for her, she thought she may find escape as Ladybug but nooooooooooo........

Hawkmoth sent stronger Akuma's, she had to call on other Heros, a thing Chat wasn't fond of since he wanted Ladybug to notice him more so he started to appear less in battles, unless to flirt and make a bargain with ladybug to date him.
