This is an author who has a number of really great reads (if you aren't reading her current book Isabella you better start). I just think she manages to write the perfect amount of romance and drama, and who doesn't like a bit of both in a good story.
Scarlet is a bit of a mess (no judgement-who isn't?) and hasn't had the easiest or most stable life. The one constant, her childhood best friend Harry, who is completely in love with her! At first this love is unrequited but will Scarlet risk the friendship and see Harry as more.
This story has a complex main character (Scarlet) who makes some questionable decisions but is so likeable. I think it's so hard to write a character like this but the author does it well. And this normal eighteen year old Harry is just a real gem.

The aim of "Harry Essential Reads" is to share books that I enjoy! I only share stories I like and always keep it positive as I don't think its my place to critique and say horrible things about other peoples work, because they are so brave for putting their work on Wattpad.
