Hero and villain~ Dekubaku

Summary: Izuku tries to talk things out with Katsuki.

Status: Angst

"What are you doing dear, aren't you tired?" His soft comforting touch on my cold skin.

"What are you doing here, I don't think that you were invited" I whispered back, face expressionless.

"Here you go again, pretending like you love me
When just beneath the surface you're convinced that you're above me" I said and my muscles tensed.

"Dig deep into the past I've never been one for doing things half-assed
If I'm here to save you, I'll be here forever
Just take my hand I'll be your night in shining armor" He said as he softly turned me around.

"You think you're a hero..?" I asked with a laugh.

"And they'll tell you, you are
So stoic and handsome
And you've come so far" I put on a fake smile and walked closer to him.

"You think you're a villain
But I know you're not" He stood his ground as we kept eye contact.

"Under all that angst and anger is a
Beating human heart,"

"Dying broken heart" Our voices overlapped as I corrected him.

"Hey what about the lonely little girl?" I asked.

"I'm sorry!" He said.

"And what about her monsters who prevail" I pushed him.

"I'm sorry!" He yelled out with a hurt expression.

"You never came to save my world" I said void of emotion.

"What about us?' He yelled out.

"What about me" I yelled out.

"I recognize that you're upset" He said as he tried to reason with me.

"I know they did you wrong"

"Oh you know nothing of me" We yelled over each other and for the first time in a while I felt emotions. Even if that emotion was sadness.

"Trust me, please believe me this won't stop the hurt for long
We don't need to end like this!" He tried to plead.

"Look me in the eyes" He pleaded.

"Here comes the hero complex" I said mockingly with a roll of my eyes.

"You call yourself a villain" His voice broken.

"I know im a villain" I corrected.

"But we know its a disguise" He said.

"But you're the one who lied" I said contradicting him.

"So you're back at it again
Twisting and manipulating every word I've said" Malice dripping from my tone.

"Come on you know that not true
I'm just trying to help you
Let me help you!!" He yelled out as he grabbed my arms.

"You are not my hero!!" Tears fell from my eyes as I sobbed out.

"You don't know how it felt
What else could you do with the cards that I've been dealt" I quickly returned to my cold usual self and stopped crying.

"You are not the villain
You once held my hand" He said as he softly grabbed ahold of my hands.

"Stand up
Get out
Sometimes things don't go as planned" I turned around as I pointed to the door. He let out a soft sigh.

Footsteps and the door opening and closing was the last thing I heard to confirm that he left.

I looked up to the starry night sky and allowed myself to get lost in thoughts. Thoughts of the past. Of us.

But he left me. There's no point in reminiscing in a time that no longer exists.

With that I left the abandoned building. Never once looking back.
