Autumn and Spring [Taekook]√

Chapter 9

Jungkook held Taehyung's hand tighter. They're at the rooftop. They shouldn't be there but it was Taehyung's wish.. to see the sunset, maybe for the last time, even if it was still could since the winter hasn't ended yet.

Taehyung in a wheelchair and Jungkook is standing behind him.

"I really hope you would find someone else.. someone who would love you more than I do and longer too." Taehyung said. He felt Jungkook squeezed his hand a bit.

"I'm sorry if I can't promise to stay with you until we grow old... I wish I could." He added.

"You should try getting your own family.. get a wife that would grow old with you.. have kids that will take care of you when you can't walk anymore--"

"Stop it hyung." Jungkook cut him. "Stop all those 'you should always eat well because I won't be there to remind you' , 'sooner, you'll be able to sleep well like you did before' , 'find someone else that will love you more than I did' , 'find a new happiness' , stop it all hyung.." he said. "You know those words hurts me more."

Taehyung looked down, smiling bitterly.

"Jungkook we should stop this now." He uttered.

"If you're only saying that because you feel bad and you think you're a burden to me.. I'm going to disagree." Jungkook said straight away.

"Jungkook please... I can't pull you in the pit of darkness with me.. you deserve to be happier rather than being a guy with a known life span."

"I told you already... I'm the happiest with you.. if you really want me to be happy then let me stay with you until it all ends... Or when I won't doubt about falling out of love.. or when I get used to not being with you.. or when I won't think of you even just for a minute in a day." Jungkook said, tears streaming down his cheeks. "If all those impossible things happen.. only then I will agree.. only then we will break up."

"Whether you want it or not.. I'm going to hold into you... Even if I'll cry everyday, even if my heart keeps on hurting.. I will never let go." He added.

Taehyung lowered his head when he felt warm liquid running on his cheeks.

"I don't deserve you."

"No, we don't deserve each other... But that's not what matters. The only thing that matters is we have each other. Even if we're not together physically one day."

Laying on a deathbed. All of his friends is outside the room.. only Jungkook and Taehyung is inside.

All of them is crying, watching the scene of the two lovers. It's the most heartbreaking scene they didn't know they would witness.

"It's almost spring.." Jungkook uttered. "Remember the day we met? It was a flowery spring day." He said. Taehyung nodded, smiling.. reminiscing their memories together.

"Before you go... Is there something you want? I can do it all for you." Jungkook said, even if tears is escaping his eyes.. he was trying to sound strong.

Taehyung smiled weakly.

"I want to know... what you mean when.. you said those words." He said, barely can even finish a sentence.

"What words? Hmm?" Jungkook asked caressing his face.

"That.. if you fall for.. someone else new.. then it means.. you never... met me.." he said.

Jungkook nodded, smiling as he remembers.

"It means... I will never fall in love with someone else, because I met you... If I did, that means you and I never met.. because even when I just first laid my eyes on you, I knew you were going to be the only one that can make me feel so love." He explained.

Taehyung playfully scoffed languidly.

"That's corny." He said, giggling weakly.

Jungkook nodded. "Whatever you say.." he said kissing his forehead.

"I.. love you." Taehyung managed to say.

"I love you too... And I will always do."
