Quirk, quirkless, hero, villain?
Kaito didn't care,
he thought that just being alive was hard enough.
Kaito grew up in a lab as an experiment,
until he was nine he was freed,
but what he didn't know life outside the lab was going to be even worse.

This story is about a boy named Kaito /?/ (Who is in the my hero academia world, my version) Though he was abandoned at the age of two and striped of his last name when he was adopted by a mad scientist. Kaito had all sort of experiments done to him.
Electrified, drugged, burnt, cut, froze, poisoned, gassed. It was truly torture.
The scientists had one successful experiment where they had made Kaito a new quirk they called it, Ghoul It was where Kaito could turn into a non-human like beast, where his fingernails turned into long claws, his teeth were as sharp as a tungsten needle, his eyes turned black with his pupils a shining amber. His speed and agility changed significantly and his hearing was as high as a bat.
But the downfalls to this quirk are, Cannibalism ( kinda like a vampire ). When activated he starts to cough out blood and cuts and wounds start to appear excluding to bleeding out and dying, but depending on his emotions he can use it for different periods of time. Hard to control, so if he's not careful he can loose himself to his own quirk.
But Kaito also has his own quirk called, Shadow He can manipulate himself into the shadows, And he can go into another dimension through these shadows, his own world that's completely made out of shadows. in the night or dark is where his quirk is strongest. Light is his only downfall.
Of course Kaito would have escaped along time ago but every hour the scientists would give him an injection that would cancel his quirk. And if he even tried to move an inch his chains would electrify him, so he learnt to not move a muscle even when sleeping.
What Kaito doesn't know is that his long lost second name had a huge secret to it. Or does he know that his unknown family might still be alive.
If you want to know he look sort of like this: Kaito has long cyan hair, has red pupils but his left eye is white (often gets confused for a girl) 5,2, has cuts and scars, bruises, wounds in general all over his body. 14 and his birthday is the 13th of July

His body is covered in bandages (face,neck,arms,fingers,legs,stomach), and he has a plain bloody white top that hangs down to his knees.
