"Elsa!" Anna calls out. "Elsa! It's me, Anna! Your sister who didn't mean for you freeze the summer. I'm sorry, it's all my f-fault!"

In the middle of the now-frozen forests on the outskirts of the kingdom, the young butler (Y/N), and the intrepid Princess Anna continued to ride on the horses through the deep snow.  Not only they had been riding for what felt like hours and hours on end, they also hadn't said a word to each other since they left the kingdom.

Not because of the awkward atmosphere from two of them, but its because of how there so many questions she wanted to ask from her sister's butler.

Like did he know about her sister's powers, being on top of that list.

Instead, Anna opted to...

"Man, Elsa sure is a stinker isn't she...?"

...Awkwardly start a conversation with (Y/N). Or tried to anyway.

(Y/N) sighed through his nose, letting out a puff of cloudy breath from the cold, and closed his eyes in pity, experiencing secondhand embarrassment for her mistress' younger sister.

But he understood where she was coming from, seeing as she didn't really have much contact outside of the castle walls for the last few years.

"Look, (Y/N)," Anna starts again, sounding a bit serious this time as she ushers her horse to trot beside (Y/N)'s horse, "I'm really sorry for insisting on following you, but I can't just sit and wait while my sister is in trouble. I want-- No, I need to help however I can."

"I am aware, Princess Anna." (Y/N) sighed at this.

Another hour has passed and their search still came up fruitless. By now, any tracks left by Elsa was likely covered up by the still falling snow.

"So, Elsa's powers. They were a bit of a shock, huh?" Anna stated casually.

"Shocking for everyone, yes, but not as surprising as it should've been. For me, at least."

This caught Anna's attention. "Wait, so you do know something about Elsa's power?!"

A mistake on (Y/N)'s part for not choosing the right words. But maybe he thought it was best to explain it in a way Anna could understand.

"You'd have to understand why Queen Elsa kept herself locked away from world," (Y/N) says, "It wasn't because she wanted to, it's because she needed to. She thought it was for everyone's safety," (Y/N) answered, "You saw it yourself, Anna. Even after nearly 13 years of trying to help her, she still can't control her powers."

"No offense, (Y/N), but in what you could have helped her?" Anna inquired. "Because as far as I'm concerned you're normal just like me. You said yourself back at the--"

"That was a bold-faced lie."
