Chapter 1 : Eloping

Hello minna! This is the first chapter. To be honest I've been postponing the magic portal due to the lack of what should happen now, If you got any ideas hit me and I'll make you one hell of a chapter! Arigatou! Onto the chapterrrr *fairytail hand thingy*

~Elfman's POV~

"Now, fair Evergreen... Our anniversary is almost to occur. Methinks, how slow this old moon wanes!" I tell my beautiful wife

She pulls back a strand of hair behind my ear and smiles "O, 4 days will quickly steep themselves in night and we shall dream away the time. We shall then see the moon that we hath once married under it's silver light."

I look around and spot Mirajane, "Mirajane!" I call her forth "Go seek the young actors and actresses that will perform on our holy anniversary!" She nods, bows and cheerfully sprints to search. I turn back to Evergreen. "Remember how I wooed thee and instantly fell involve with your being? And how--"

A loud voice cuts me off, "Happy be Elfman, our renowned duke." I turn to see a friend of mine, Jude Heartfilia along with his daughter and two men.

I laugh in delight "Thanks, good Jude. What's up with thee?" I ask.

He sighs and anger sets in on his complexion. "I come here, with complaint against my daughter, Lucy. This man, Gray --" *pulls him closer* "-- Has the desire to marry my daughter. And this man, Natsu--"*points vulgarly at him with Lucy in his arms* "Has bewitched her, wooing her with rhymes under the moonlight, and hath slol'n the impression of her FairyTail (pun intended) Fantasy." *He pulls his daughter by the wrist away from Natsu and angrily shakes it in the air* "Natsu has cunningly filched my daughter's heart, turned her obedience; Which is due to me, To stubborn her harshness. And, My gracious duke, by the Athenian law, if she doesn't marry Gray, she has no right to live."

Lucy cries and falls to her knees "Let me go" she says at a low tone. Evergreen looks sorrowfully at the scene and stands behind me dismissing herself from the topic. As she was scared from Jude's misbehaviour.

I sigh. "What do you say, Lucy? To you, your father should be equivalent to a God. And Gray is a worthy gentleman; why not marry Gray?"

She sobs and stands saying strongly but politely "Natsu is a gentleman too."

I stay silent for a moment to search for a bloodless resolution. "Natsu, in himself, is a gentleman. But in this kind, wanting your father's voice. Gray must be held worthier."

Lucy looks at me with a tint of hope in her eyes. "I would my father looked but with my eyes, Natsu is the gentleman for me." I scan Natsu and see him politely nod then Share a competitive glare with Gray.

Her father examines my view then immediately glares at me. I love a good debate anyway, so I continue to talk to Lucy. "Rather your eyes must with his judgement look." She rolls her eyes at me.

She puts her right hand on her heart as Evergreen closens up after the vulgarness was over, and civilisation enlightens the conversation. "I do entreat your grace to pardon me, I know not by what power I am made bold, nor how it concerns my modesty... But Marriage is about who I love, not whom my father loves."

Natsu smirks and shoots a word at Gray "If he loves you so much, why don't you marry him Gray?"

Gray glares and almost throws a poisonous word on Natsu but Jude interrupts."Scornful Natsu! He hath my love, and that is why I want HIM to marry LUCY instead of THOU"

Natsu sighs sadly.. I clear my throat and say "I have heard enough, I would like a word with you, Jude, and Gray. Evergreen, Thou may do as thou wishes"

~Natsu's POV~

Lucy and I walk out of the room and I stretch. "God, I hate thy father."

She sadly says "I hate him too."

We go sit by the fountain in one of the gardens surrounding the castle and we are left alone.

A few moments of silence pass with her face buried in my embrace..

"Lucy"

"Yes Natsu?"

"Let's Elope!"

"WHAT?!?"

"Why not? I know a place beyond the woods where the "Athenian Law" can't decide if you have to marry Ice princess or do whatever."

She giggles at the insult and then suddenly a sad Juvia comes along.

"God speed fair Juvia! where hath thee been?"

A dark aura surrounds Juvia "Call you me fair? That "fair" again unsay?"

Lucy looks at her and asks "Why so? You seem as beautiful as can be!"

She sighs and sits beside Lucy "Gray loves you, Love rival."

Lucy gulps and laughs nervously.. I just watch Lucy clutch my hand tightly

"Teach me Lucy-san! How you sway the motion if Demetrius' heart."

Lucy thinks deeply then replies. "I frown upon him, yet he loves me still... And the more I hate, the more he follows me."

Juvia sighs "The more I love, the more he hateth me."

Lucy pats her gently, "It'll all be gone as we begone! Natsu and I will elope! you'll be alone with him."

I grin (my signature smile) "We'll be going beyond the forest this night and leave this sad town!"

We both stand up, share a hug and part ways to gather our stuff.

"Adieu Lucy, Juvia!" I say

"Adieu Natsu, Juvia!" Lucy says

Juvia stays and says "Adieu..." Sadly and lays down on the rim of the fountain.
