Silvia stayed in the bathroom trying to regain control of herself for minutes longer. She looked at herself in the mirror and saw how pale her face was.
Maybe he was right
Maybe she shouldn't be scared.
But as she thought that, she saw the bruise on her neck.
"Reducto" she whispered with her wand pointed at the mirror, as it shrunk until she couldn't see it. Then, she could leave.
She found herself entering the common room around 10 that night, had the day gone by that quickly?
Only yesterday she was attacked.
Wow.
She went to her bed, closed the curtains of her four poster bed and almost immediately fell asleep, not even undressing.
———
The next three days were slow and painful. She hadn't seen Draco anywhere, it was almost like he vanished off the planet, just walked off.
She lazily nodded to whatever Fred and George were saying, and made it to Snape'a classroom in the dungeons.
It was very cold.
The hair on her arms prickled as she made her way into the room, parting with her friends.
She went to take her usual seat at the back of the classroom and her whole body tensed up. She felt her throat close and the skin on her face go numb.
Blaise Zabini was sitting across from her. Right across. He stared at her and she turned and looked over the whole classroom and saw a seat next to Lavender Brown and started her way over.
"Issue with your regular seat, Miss Donovan?" Snape hissed in his baritone voice. She froze and glanced at her usual spot to the Professor.
"I just don't think-" she started but she couldn't finish. She couldn't let anybody know, it was bad enough Draco already knew.
"Yes?.." he raised an eyebrow at her. She looked back across the room at Harry who looked at her questionably.
"Nothing, nothing." Silvia announced realizing the attention was on her and only her and she hastily sat across from him, seeing the satisfaction on his face made her sick.
They were half way through the lesson, Draco still missing, and Blaise finally spoke.
"Why do cold, Silvia?" He leaned against the table as she was doing and she sat back, straightening up refusing to look at him.
She didn't answer.
She felt his foot brush hers under the table and pulled away.
Her eyes flickered up once and saw him grinning but he dropped the look when she saw it. She knitted her eyebrows together confused.
"Why are you sitting here?" She asked, trying to not sound angry, she knew what he was capable of, but not wanting to exactly sound nice either.
"Free seat." He shrugged.
"What was wrong with your other one?"
"You weren't close enough"
She closed her eyes and counted to ten. Counting her breaths.
She ignored him, and focused on taking notes about a love potion, they wouldn't smell it till later in the year but would learn about it then.
Harry saw her struggle and got Ron and Hermione's attention and pointed it out how every time Blaise talked she winced. They figured he was bullying her.
You could call it that.
The door opened and closed.
"Glad to see you to finally join us Mr Malfoy.." he nodded and waved his hand at the seat near Lavender Brown.
However, his eyes wandered the classroom, and when they found her she couldn't even look up. She was so focused on not reacting to Blaises little chuckles.
His eyes skimmed over hers and looked across from her. Blaise. Zabini.
He felt his face grow hot and he took his seat, his gaze not leaving their table.
"I wanted to say I'm sorry." Blaise whispered.
Silvia looked up, her green eyes flashing. Draco watched the interaction and read their lips the best he could.
"Why?" She asked. She meant it too. Why was he just now saying this? A year after?
"I should have waited until you were more mature." He looked at her honestly.
"More mature?" She asked shocked. Nothing could have prepared her for that.
He nodded, clearly thinking he was doing a favor.
Draco's hands balled into white fists. He was hoping he hadn't guessed what he had just actually said.
Harry was staring at them, at Blaises back of the head and at Silvias astounded face.
"You shouldn't talk to me."
"Why not?" He was the confused one now. He thought he'd done her one good.
"Because" her eyes flickered from her wand next to her to him again.
"I know a hell of a lot of hexes." She spoke, surprised at her own braveness.
Harry caught that much, she was threatening him. But why?
His eyes looked over the classroom as Snape droned on, catching Draco staring at the two as well.
"Well you know I like girls who play hard to get." He winked.
She waited for the time to leave, and exited and started walking, Blaise still behind grabbing his stuff.
"Is he bothering you?" A familiar voice cooed into her ear.
"Malfoy."
"Seriously just tell me-" he was getting angry.
"Malfoy."
"Silvia."
She stopped and turned to look at him, seeing her friends behind him.
"Not now." He saw her shaking again and it was enough. He nodded and watched her stall off but turned his back and headed back for the classroom.
He walked in, and saw a few student leaving. He stepped aside from the door to allow them but when Blaise got close, he put his hand against the metal door frame so hard it rang.
"Are you mad?" Zabini raised an eyebrow.
"So much as speak to that girl, Zabini and you're dead. Think about that girl and you're dead. Look at that girl and you're dead." His fists were white with anger, and he stared at him challenging him.
Blaise saw how furious he really was and his eyes softened.
"Got a crush do we-" Blaise began but was cut off with a punch. Draco's hand felt a pop, he might have broken something but he didn't feel it.
Blaise sat up, he had hunched over from the impact.
"Blimey, alright alright. Get your knickers straight." He shook his head, rubbing his cheek.
He scurried off.
He ran past the corridor down the next hall.
Harry was there, and Blaise ran so fast he didn't even see him.
And he had heard everything.
Hope you enjoy so far, I won't be able to update until Monday, sorry loves. But do give feedback!! It's only my first story, I'm trying to get used to writing regularly.
What do you think about this whole Draco situation? What should Silvia do? What would you do?
