I cannot deny that I am huge fan of this author. In fact, I have made it blatantly clear that I absolutely adore her writing. She is amazing and the fact that she is not a native speaker of English makes this even more incredible. "The Spencer Letters" is a genius way of putting a story together through a series of letters written to a sick friend that is unable to read them currently but will read them in the end if they recover. Through the letters which work more like a sort of therapy from their writer, we see a love story unfold which is so original, so real. The writer has made an excellent job of setting the story and narrating the events through the letters transporting you to the place and time they played out. The characters are so immediate and real, flawed, and passionate that you get lost in the story. I am absolutely certain that one day we will be lucky to see this author's work published.
