Very unique and sweet, this book unfolds the story of two very different people from different parts of the world who come together in the USA. It talks of kindness, friendship, diversity and challenges but like all of the author's books inner turmoil is very evident in this one, too. Self acceptance and embracing individuals regardless of their sexuality is another topic addressed, too.
I like the author's books because she puts a piece of herself in them and by reading them, it is like you get to know her a little bit.
