I cannot praise @WhoopsHarryStyles enough. She is an amazing writer, generous teacher and kind soul. Once again she has enchanted me with her words in her story Battlefield that you should all go and read. I really don't get it why a writer such talented and lovely doesn't have the reads she deserves.
In Battlefield the author is taking us back and forth in time but does so in such a delicate manner enrapturing you with her plot. This is the story of what happens after "Happily ever after" and the insecurities and struggles of marrying a superstar whilst trying to preserve your integrity and identity as a human, woman, academic.
It's not a story of finding love. The love is there. it's the story of finding yourself and sacrificing what you want for the sake of the other.
I am not doing this justice at all. You should definitely check it out, add it to your libraries and also take the time to check the writer's other works as well.
