Yashiro cheerfully walked to the girls restroom, while humming a melody to herself. (Name) followed the girl hoping that Hanako didn't crush her hopes. Yashiro had gotten her first love letter and wanted to brag about it. Yet, she didn't know that it was assigned to someone else, and (Name) didn't have the guts to tell her while she was so happy about it.

"Love is summer vegetables," Yashiro sang. "The satisfying crunch of two people in love~"

Yashiro approached the girls bathroom, ready to go annoy Hanako. "Haanaako-kun!"

But when the girls entered the bathroom it was completely empty. (Name) gave a silent sigh of relief. "Looks like he isn't here."

Yashiro pouted and looked at the mokke. "Heyyy, where's Hanako-kun?"

"I knew you two would come here!"

Behind them was mystery No. 2. She wasn't a fox this time though. She was in her human form, looking sweet and elegant. "Yako-san!" Yashiro called.

"Yako!" (Name) waved.

"What are you doing here?!" (Name) asked.

"I'm here to file a complaint!" Yako pointed her finger at us.

"A complaint?!" (Name) asked.

"YES!!" Yako yelled. "What kind of rumor are you two spreading. Is this some kind of joke?"

"Rumor?" Yashiro asked. "Do you mean the new one we started."

Yashiro grinned as she thought of the rumor, feeling proud of herself. The Misaki stairs. That place is the perfect spot for couples in love. Any couple who climbs the length of the staircase while holding hands and professing their love may be bound together forever. But you mustn't step on the fourth step! Or your love will be severed for all eternity...

"Your staircase has been reborn as a sacred place for lovers!" Yashiro said. "How wonderful!"

Yako began trembling. She turned into a fox and pounced onto Yashiro and chomped on the top of her head.

"EEEEEK!" Yashiro wailed. "WHY WHY?!"

"SILENCE WHELP!" Yako yelled.

(Name) nervously laughed. "Chill out Yako..."

She didn't listen. "Every freaking day, lovebirds come to my stair and make out with each other! Nothing could be more obnoxious! So I came to get my revenge by chomping you!"

"Ow, ow, ow, ow!" Yashiro wailed. "(Surname)-chan, Hanako-kun, help meeee!"

(Name) grabbed Yako and placed her on top of her head. "Calm down."

"Hmph," Yako scoffed. "Unfortunately, No. 7 isn't here right now. I saw him go into the science prep room a while ago."

"The science prep room?" Yashiro asked.

"You know," Yako said, "No. 5's place!"

"I wonder what Hanako needed to see Tsuchigoromi-sensei about," Yashiro muttered. "Oh well..."

Yashiro went to the science prep room, with (Name) and Yako. They'd been hoping Hanako was still there so we could talk to him.
