Chapter- 8 Jealousy

Someone grabbed my arm and pulled me and placed my back against the book shelf.

"You bastard!" I sweared. The person in front of me was of my height. I noticed, it was none other than Judy and her minion.

"Bitch! How dare you swear at me?" She grabbed my collar.

"It's just nothing for shits like you." I grabbed her arm and removed her hand from my collar.

" Move away! You are suffocating me with that paint of yours. " I gestured her face and pushed her aside.

" Do you think with that shitty face of yours, John will be impress by you? " She said with a sigh from behind.

I stopped in my tracks. Then I looked at her.

"At least I don't need artificial things to cover my face. Do you think John will like that shitty face beneath your horror painting? "I smirked and sat on my seat.

" Let's see, who will John choose as his date? Do you agree on participating on the beauty competition?" I ignored her.

" As I knew. You don't have the confidence that John will choose you." She gave a maniac laugh.

" Don't laugh like that. You look like a old hag." I replied without looking at her.

"And the matter of competition. I am absolutely ready. " I looked at her and left from there.

I reached where my friends were waiting. Julia was talking with my brother. Yuki and Oliver were fighting over something. John noticed me as he looked up from his mobile screen.

"There you are." All looked at me as I came. John waved and smiled. I smiled back too.

"Where were you?" Julia asked as I leaned against the wall.

"Got a ***** on the way." I said nonchalantly.

" Was that Judy?" Yuki asked turning her attention towards me. I nodded.

"What did she do? Was she picking a fight? " Julia asked with a worried face. I shook my head.

"Nope. She just gave a challenge."

"And about what? "

" Who will attract more people on the Annual Ball Day. " I looked at her.

" What day? " Oliver asked looking more interested.

" On that day, there will a beauty competition and a ball dance kinda thing, where everyone comes in a prom like dress with their dates." Julia asked. I nodded.

" This going to be awesome. " Yuki sighed.

" Do you think anyone is going to make you their date. " Oliver teased. Again started. ' They are a cute couple.' I thought.

"Who are you planning to make your date?" Julia asked me. I shrugged.

"Who are you planning to go with?" I asked. She didn't said anything, just blushed slightly.

"Don't do that shying blushing thing, it's cringe, you know? " I made a disgusted face. She pouted.

I looked at my watch and realized it was time for next class. I knew both of them didn't had any idea of the time so I literally dragged them from there.

"Chicken."

"Fries."

"Burger."

"Piz-"

"What are you saying?" I shook Julia from her nap.

" Were you eating in your sleep?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"Where is my food?" She asked.

"We are in the class." I said with gritted teeth.

" Hmm.....umm.....o k a y." She again went back to sleep. I face palmed.

It was our special class, as from tomorrow it was weekend. We weren't going to any other place, it was like a physical training for all. Both I and Yuki dragged Julia in her half-sleep-state. We managed to take her. Across us Oliver, John and my brother were standing. We waved at them. Johnny waved back to me, Oliver winked and John just smiled. Julia woke from half-sleep-state, and literally ran to Johnny. I looked at John he was staring at me smiling.

"Who do you think you are?"

"Not someone stubborn like you."

" Huh! I am stubborn. First look at yourself before saying it."

As usual Yuki and Oliver were fighting over something, which wasn't important. I rolled my eyes and looked back at John, smiling.

She looked at me and smiled. It was the most warm smile ever. It wasn't fake, I felt it. In the meantime, the activity started. A team of two people were made. I wished I was with her. I waited till the end, and there were only four students left.

At last, I was grouped with a girl named Kacey. And Math was grouped with a guy. I glanced at them. I don't know but the way he was looking at her, was itching me to punch him.

After some time, I glanced at them, they were laughing. And the other moment, he was holding her hand, and the other he touched her by the shoulder and she too. I looked at them with wide eyes.

"Yo man!" I looked at my team mate.

"Aren't you going to focus on your own, rather than looking at others?" She asked me with a frown. I nodded.

In the midst of the game, she suddenly spoke. "Is she your girlfriend?" I looked with a what-do-you-mean expression.

"I mean the girl you are looking at?" She asked, eyes on her work. I was about to say, then the teacher said that time was over.

For the last time I looked at her, this time she looked at me, with something in her eyes. But I looked away, I don't know why I am doing that,but seemed the good thing to do at that time. I sensed she's still looking at me.

Class was over. Finally it was time to go. I quickly packed my bag and thought of saying goodbye to John. Then I remembered, he seemed disappointed when he looked at me that time. I couldn't find the answer. I went to search him. When I finally got him, he looked at me and left. I didn't got the time to say him goodbye. I walked towards my bike and thought hard about what I did wrong.

I reached home much earlier than any other day. I went upstairs to my bedroom. I looked myself in the mirror and thought about the day.

' Did I did something wrong? If I did, what was it? Might be it's a misunderstanding. What if it's not? By the way what did I did?'

I fresh up and laid on my bed listening to music and thinking about the answer.
