Our Complicated Relationship

Linda's POV

My school is at a walking distance from my house.
While walking to it, I keep thinking about the stationary I bought for this session. I'm a stationary freak and L-O-V-E decorating my notes.
As I enter the corridor after taking my schedule, I was hugged to DEATH by my friends; Edith and Archie.
I'm not the "Miss Popular" of the school but I'm neither the ghost.
Archie and I had the first three classes together and Edith and I had the 5th ,6th and 7th one together.  They had the left two classes together.

Archie and I head to our first class which was MATHS.
Archie and I look at each other and rush for the last seat, we really love the seat in the corner most section(s). I got the one in the corner, Yay! She sat in the second last row right in front of me, with a grumpy face.
I don't notice who sits beside me until, our math teacher announces, "Morning Class! Today we begin a new session. I would like to announce that there is a new boy in our class, Marcus Paul. Marcus, please tell us something about yourself."
My eyes widen, I turn around to see Marcus standing up and smirking at me before leading his way to front. He was so confident! Unlike me...
He started by his introduction," Hey all, I'm Marcus. A 15 year old. I used to live in Texas, but my father transferred here. I'd like to end by saying, I'm single." The whole class starts giggling, our math teacher, Ms. Rose starts to smile as well.
He leads his way back towards his seat and sits down after grinning at me. 

I start to blush, nopes not because he's cute but because of embarrassment.
I face a LOT of it!
I look down at my shoes till he stops staring me.
After nearly 45 minutes, our class was dismissed. I get up and accidently drop my books and schedule. I'm clumsy, I know it.
Someone helps me pick my books. I was about to reach for the schedule but that someone grabbed it earlier and no sooner I realize that someone was Marcus. WHY LORD! WHY!?
He runs his eyes across my schedule and says, "Hey! We have the same schedule!"
"Damn it!", I mumble. His eyes widen "You curse?!", he said in shock. He continued by saying, "I thought you are a typical nerd."
I give him a 'vexed' look before snatching my schedule and running out for biology class, he follows me as I walk in the corridor. He speaks up again, " I'm so sorry for laughing at you in the morning, but I really - really want to know how did you end up like that." He ends the sentence chuckling. 
I sigh and start to rant out, I usually don't like to be so frank with anyone except Edith and Archie but I felt sorta 'open' with him. He starts laughing so hard when I end. A tear rolls down his eye as he keeps laughing, people in the corridor give us stares. "Stop it dude!" I whisper angrily, he keeps his and hand on his mouth and continues to walk with me, I still hear him chuckle. I roll my eyes and walk into the class, our teacher didn't arrive yet.
As I proceed to sit in the corner, someone pulls me back by my waist. I recognize these hands, it's Baston! I hate that bi*ch. He was my boyfriend last year but I dumped him when I realized that he was just using me to get over his ex and he felt, 'abusive'. I hated his uncomfortable touch.
I seemed to be very uncomfortable as he added on to his grip, I feel the grip loosening as I hear a cough, it was our science teacher. He probably saw me getting vulnerable. I rush to the only seat empty, next to Marcus.
I start to shiver, he worriedly looks at me. Archie looks at me and whispers ,"It will be fine". 
I then turn towards Marcus and whisper as I stutter, " Meet u-us in -the lu-lunch".
