The Subcinctus species are made up of two types. The Bestias and the Virs. The Bestia's are those who are animals by nature, living, hunting, sleeping, and mating like animals. Virs are those who are human in nature, doing everything as human from living, eating, and raising their young. Bestia have an animal's heart and mind, following their instincts and knowing the thick line between right and wrong. Virs have a human's heart and instincts, fueled by desires and ambitions. Because of their large differences they clash.
Willow Lester is a Vir Wolf Subcinctus, traveling about, enjoying where the wind takes her. When she meets her mate, she decides to follow traditions and go with him to live out the two months of courtship to see if it is something either of them want.
